JoSAA Vacant Seats 2021: Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the list of vacant seats left after the completion of 6 rounds of JoSAA 2021 counselling on November 27. The vacant seats in NITS, IIITS and GFTIs is the basis of conducting CSAB 2021 special rounds. Candidates can check the number of vacant seats by clicking the link below

Information about these seats has also been made available on the official website of the Central Seat Allocation Board i.e. csab.nic.in. The vacant seats in JoSAA 2021 are generally due to the incomplete admission process of students during the counselling process. Students usually leave a seat if they get admission to a better college or sometimes due to personal or other reasons.

CSAB Special rounds are conducted every year for admission of students to JoSAA vacant seats. For admission to these seats in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, candidates must complete the CSAB 2021 registration before November 30. The application process will begin at CSAB 2021 website: csab.nic.in from November 28, 2021.
Steps to check JoSAA Vacant Seats 2021
To check the JoSAA vacant seats 2021 list, candidates will have to follow the below-given steps:
- Visit the official website of JoSAA or CSAB
- On the JoSAA website, click on the “JoSAA Vacant Seats 2021”. On the CSAB portal, click on the “Tentative Seat Vacancy for CSAB 2021”
- Vacant seats in JoSAA 2021 will be displayed on the screen
- Download and save the list for reference while entering the choices of programmes and Institutes

No, JoSAA counselling is not required for the students who want to take admission on the basis of entrance in BTech at Army Institute of Technology, Pune. Only entrance scores are considered at the time of admission. Students need to submit JEE Mains scorecard at the time of admission.

Yes, students may get a seat in NIT Puducherry BTech with 92 percentile in JEE Main through JoSAA counselling. The cutoff is high for specialisations, such as CSE. With NITPY being one of the top institutes and part of the NIT Tag, the cutoff is always high. But 92 percentile can be enough for later

The NIT Srinagar BTech seat allotment is first done through the JoSAA counseling. The allotment of seats is based on a candidate's JEE Mains score. However, if after the seat allotment, there are still some vacant seats for the BTech course, they are filled through the CSAB counseling.
