KCET 2026 Physics Question Paper Analysis April 23: The KCET physics question paper analysis is OUT. As per the initial feedback, the KCET Physics morning shift surprised candidates with a heavy emphasis on conceptual theory over numerical problems. The paper, required deep conceptual understanding, prompting students to pivot their focus toward the upcoming Chemistry exam scheduled to be held in the afternoon session.

Some students also shared a positive feedback as they said, the paper was a psychological curveball and found the concepts easy to moderate, the shift from numerical problem-solving to heavy theory left them feeling "messed up." Confusion and late starts added to the pressure, making time feel scarce, as a candidate shared that they was given the paper 6-7 minute late. With the Physics shock behind them, students are now pivoting to Chemistry, encouraging each other prioritize definitions and properties to reclaim their momentum. For more information, you can read the analysis on the KCET official website.

For B.Sc. Nursing admission through KCET, students usually need a rank under 30,000 to get into top government and premier private colleges. Private colleges, on the other hand, accept ranks up to 2,00,000 or even higher.

KCET is the main entrance exam for state quota seats. If you have a good JEE Main score, you can also apply for a management or NRI quota seat, or apply through COMEDK, which is another popular option in Karnataka. Each college may accept a different mix, so check individually.
