Didn’t score well in GATE 2020 exam? How to push yourself to start again? Now that you have slowly got over the setback and decided to give another shot to your engineering dreams, let’s see the manner in which you’re going to restart GATE exam preparation for next year.
Explore colleges based on GATE
- Create a course of action. Segregate & manage your time and plan the number of hours you will give to each subject. With this approach, you'll be ready to cover tons during a little time available. Make sure to beef up your preparation in areas, where you thought you lacked while appearing for GATE exam earlier. Create a solid study plan and strictly adhere to that.
- Take your time with all the concepts. Don’t be in a rush to complete your entire syllabus. If you begin early enough, you'll have enough time to slowly pick through every little thing and cover all the major topics.
- Use your past exam experience. Since you already had an experience with the exam and have earlier studied for it at length, start solving sample papers in quick succession. Try to solve the previous year’s question papers as well. This will again assist you to understand your weak points and address them in a more efficient way. Solve specific test series for GATE Exam.
- Keep up with the revisions. Do not take for granted the months of preparation that you put in before the exam. You need to focus on studying and revising the concepts repeatedly so that you have complete clarity on concepts. Revision is the key to help you store the topics in your memory for a long time. Attempt to complete the revision of the whole syllabus in less time to reduce anxiety.
- Take part in the group study sessions. With your friends, you would possibly be curious to understand the tough topics by devising fun ways to learn them. However, refrain from being side-tracked while trying to be innovative with your study methods. If you're serious about your future, then you want to balance fun with learning.
Failing and letting the failure rule you is extremely easy and failing then converting your failure into success is extremely hard. Without efforts and endurance, we cannot expect good things to happen. Retain up your spirits, work hard and ace GATE exam with your next attempt!
