If you are looking to crack Gate 2020, then below are few strategies that can help you achieve this.
Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) is an exam that is your gateway to pursue post-graduation in engineering or getting a job at public sector units. Hence, it is of utmost importance that you prepare well for this entrance exam in which the competition is tough.
- So, my first suggestion to you would be is that you start preparing as early as possible. Starting early will enable you to practice more.
- Create an idea for your GATE preparation. Plan consistent with your comfort and confirm that it's productive.
- Revise, revise, revise and revise. The more times you revise, the higher your brain retains the knowledge.
- If you can't self-prepare then choose preparatory courses. Such type of courses is easily available for online GATE preparation like made easy online test series. Offline courses also are available just in case you would like classroom teaching.
- An excellent idea is to form a routine. Also, set targets and exerting towards achieving it. Daily, weekly and monthly targets can seriously help.
- Know weightage for each subject supported previous year papers and target your preparation to carry more marks in GATE exam.
- Selections of fantastic study materials and books are vital at the initial stages of GATE preparations.
- Studying one or two books are sufficient for each subject. One should always give its first priority for reading from a book rather than looking for other resources.
- You may prepare with an internet video lecture, course material, coaching notes, etc.
- You can also prepare the books that you simply have followed during the undergraduate course.
- Most of the questions in GATE are conceptual & numerical, so you would like to aim to enhance your solving ability & time management to achieve an honest rank.
- The first step within the preparation is to start out with an easy subject and an important one. Topper's suggestion is, to start out with, mathematics and one basic concept. Read topic by topic to end the entire subject.
- We should always revise notes for each topic and should cover all important definition, formulas, differences, etc.
- Topic-wise preparation on previous GATE questions should be done after understanding each topic.
- We should also attempt the quizzes for each topic and subject to know our performance.
- Discuss your doubts on "Grade up" and practice quizzes/tests to match the performance with others.
- Identify the weakness areas while practising quizzes/tests and inspect to revise and practise those topics.
- The mock tests can be practised in two ways. One is self-practice each day, and thus, the opposite is attempting online mock tests.
- Practice the mock tests to reinforce performance. Performance depends on what proportion time dedicated to answering each question and therefore the way many questions are answered correctly.
- Make sure that you simply follow your plan. Don’t get distracted. One should always work towards achieving your targets before time if possible. (But remember you set realistic targets).
- Start with the fundamentals. Then advance to the tougher subjects. A tree can only grow after its roots are strong enough to carry it.

MANIT M.Tech fellowship is paid every month based on your attendance. You need to fill out a simple form and get it signed by your teacher. This shows you attended your classes and did your lab assistant work. Once the department confirms this, the money goes straight to your bank account.
