Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai has released the TNEA seat allotment result for round 1 on October 05 in online mode. Candidates can check the TNEA seat allotment results in online mode from the official website. TNEA counselling 2021 for round 1 started from September 27 onwards. Candidates who have been allotted seats have to confirm their seats within the given timeline in the allotment order. TNEA seat allotment list for the Academic & Vocational category has also been published in pdf format.
How to download TNEA 2021 Seat Allotment Order?
- Visit the official website of TNEA 2021 - https://www.tneaonline.org/
- On the login page, enter Login ID and Password
- The seat allotment order will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take a printout of seat allotment letter and confirm

The final TNEA seat allotment contains the rank, application number, name, allotted category, branch and college. Candidates who are satisfied with their seat allotment can freeze the results and make the payment of online admission fee by visiting the allotted institute. However, those who are not satisfied with the seat allotment results can check the vacant seats released by the authority. The applicants who fail to submit their allotment option are eligible to participate in the third round of TNEA counselling.

TNEA choice filling for round 2 and initial fee payment option will be started soon. The last date to fill choices for round 2 is October 6 and the initial deposit payment is October 08. After submission of allotment options, the seat allotment result for Round 2 will be declared on October 09.

DoTE Chennai, Tamil Nadu conducts Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2021 (TNEA 2021) for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses offered by its participating institutes in TNEA. No, the TNEA cutoff for the BTech course has not been released yet. The students must keep themselves updated from official website. Once released, they can visit TNEA website, search the BTech course category. The tentative dates for release are usually in the months of June and July 2026.

The students can get regular updates for BTech course admissions at official website of TNEA. The exact dates will be released around May, 2026. The students who have completed their class 12th can apply for TNEA councelling process. They must meet the miniumum eligibility criteria for BTech course
