BITSAT 2026 result dates will be announced soon. The scores obtained in the entrance examination can be checked through the BITSAT result 2026. Although the candidates will be able to check their obtained scores immediately after the exam concludes, the moderate scores will be available through the official result of BITSAT 2026. How to Download BITSAT 2026 Scorecard/Result?

Process to check BITSAT 2026 result if the candidate forgets their application number
If the students forget their BITSAT application number, they will still be able to download their scorecard using another option. The given steps can be followed to retrieve their login.
- Go to bitsadmission.com
- Click Forgot Application Number or Password.
- Students have to enter their Registered Mobile Number, Email ID, and Date Of Birth.
- Click on Submit.
BITSAT 2026 Merit list
Based on the performance in the entrance exam, the authorities will prepare the BITSAT 2026 merit list. During the counselling process, two types of merit lists will be available.
- BITSAT 2026 Admit List - This list will contain the names of the students who have met the BITSAT cutoff. Students whose names are in the BITSAT admit list will be called to participate in the counselling process.
- BITSAT 2026 Wait List - This list will contain the names of those students who will be called for admission if any seats remain vacant.

No. The BITS Pilani authorities do not announce the list of BITSAT toppers. However, if the list of toppers is released, the students will be able to access it here. Students will be scored as per their performance in the exam. If both exam sessions are attempted, then the best score will be considered for admission.
BITSAT is held annually in two sessions. The first session is held tentatively in May and the second session in June 2026. Students can attempt one or both sessions of BITSAT to be eligible for admission. If both sessions are attempted, then the best score will be considered.
BITSAT 2026 Result: Tie Breaking Guidelines
Admissions into programmes offered by different campuses of BITS are completely based on merit and the scores acquired by candidates in the BITSAT 2026. Here, the candidates also need to ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria related to the minimum marks to be obtained in the Class XII Board examination or equivalent qualifying exam.
In a situation wherein two or more candidates have the same BITSAT score, a tie-breaker will be done as per the below-mentioned rules:
- Scores of candidates in Mathematics/Biology (For BPharm) subjects in BITSAT will be considered for preparing the merit list.
- If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the Physics section of the BITSAT will be considered for preparing the merit list.
- If the tie still exists, then the score of candidates in the Chemistry section of BITSAT would be taken into consideration.
- If the tie still exists, then the total marks of candidates in their Class 12 examination in PCM/PCB (for BPharm) will be taken into consideration.

If two or more candidates have same marks in BITSAT exam, authorities will use tie breaking rules. By following guidelines, tie will be broken and scores will be used to select students for admission.
To break the tie in the BITSAT score, the Mathematics score will be considered first. For BPharm admissions, the Biology score will be considered. If these scores are still unable to break the tie, then other subject scores will be checked by the authorities.
The 12th standard PCM marks will be considered to break the tie in the BITSAT score. If the tie remains after checking the entrance exam subject-wise score, then the 12th standard qualifying exam marks will be used to break the tie.

During BITSAT counselling, students will be allotted according to rank and preferences. Allotment result will be announced in form of iterations. Once students are allotted, they will have to confirm their admission.
Through BITSAT, the students will be eligible for admissions into the three BITS campuses, which is in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. During the counselling process, the students can given their campus preference and it the cutoff is met, then they will have chances of admission.
