What is LPUNEST?
LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admissions to Law, Applied Medical Sciences, MBA, Hotel Management, PhD, Design, Agriculture, Mphil including MBA. The exam is conducted in four phases for admission to various courses. The first phase of the exam has two schedules while the rest three phases are conducted in single sessions.
Every year more than three lakh applicants register for LPUNEST. LPU NEST is known to be one of the biggest private entrance test conducted in India and if statistics are to be believed then in the list of all the engineering entrance exam conducted in India, that is, considering both Government (Centre & State) as well as Private entrance exams, then LPUNEST is the fifth largest entrance test held in India.
LPU NEST 2025 BSc Agriculture Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission to BSc as follows
- The applicant should be an Indian national
- Applicants should have completed or appeared in the Class 12 exam in 2024 conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other State Board
- Applicants should have secured 60%* aggregate in Class (with English, Physics, Chemistry & either Maths or Biology or Forestry or Agriculture) or 2 years Diploma in Agriculture
*5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants
*10% relaxation to outstanding sports persons (i.e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), subject to verification from the Selection Committee of the University.

MSc Agriculture aspirants should have passed BSc (Agriculture) or BSc (Agriculture) (Hons.) in the concerned discipline or equivalent with 60% aggregate marks from a recognized Institute or University.

LPUNEST 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
Here’s what you need to remember on the exam day.
Though the LPUNEST exam will be held online, candidates are advised to carry a pencil and a sheet of paper for rough work. Besides knowing the things that should be carried inside the exam hall, it is also important to know what must not be carried to the test centre. Candidates are not allowed to carry any text material, log table, calculator, electronic watches mobile phones etc. to the exam centre.
