What is AILET Exam?
The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by the university. The AILET exam is conducted offline at the allotted test centres.
Unlike CLAT, which opens admission to multiple law schools, AILET is specific to NLU Delhi, making the competition intense due to limited seats. Apart from NLU Delhi, AILET scores are not accepted by other NLUs.

NLU Delhi will release the AILET 2027 admit card online a few weeks before the exam. Candidates must download it using their registration credentials. Without an AILET hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.

AILET 2027 Exam Day Guidelines
On the day of the exam, candidates must follow the AILET exam day guidelines, which will be given on the AILET hall ticket. Check the AILET 2027 exam day instructions below.
- Candidates must carry the AILET admit card and also a valid and original photo ID proof to the test center. Both the ID proof and the admit card will be checked at the entry gate of the AILET 2027 test center. Candidates can carry documents such as an Aadhaar Card, a Driver's License, a Passport, etc.
- In case the photograph printed on the admit card is not clear, such candidates will be required to carry an attested photograph.
- For candidates belonging to the PwD category, it is also mandatory to carry their disability certificate.
- Since AILET 2027 is an offline exam, candidates are required to carry a ball-point pen of blue and black colours to the centre. Candidates will not be allowed to use a pen of any other colour for writing on the admit card or filling in the details on the OMR sheet.
- Candidates can carry their water bottles. However, the water bottle is required to be transparent. Electronic items such as a smart watch, mobile phone, etc are not allowed.
