AILET 2026 One Month Preparation Strategy

Now is the time to collect your study material and practice as much as possible. Even though there are no sectional cut off marks in AILET; candidates should focus to obtain more marks in each section to improve overall scores.

Gather the correct study material – Candidates should refer to the books mentioned above for each section and prepare notes for exam preparation. They should focus on legal terms and related news for the legal aptitude and GK section. For English, candidates should improve their comprehension skills by reading more and more including, books, blogs. For Logical Reasoning, candidates should practice both inductive and deductive reasoning questions. They should learn the pattern, infer the data, and learn the pattern of the questions for all the subjects.

Q:   Do I need to read separate books for each subject included in the AILET syllabus?
A:

Candidates who wish to clear the AILET Exam are advised to be well-prepared with the finest study materials and reference books currently avaiable. There are several AILET Books in the market for preparing for the AILET exam and cover all of important topics required to clear the exam.

Candidates must note that the AILET books are organised in a manner that you will be able to see the previous years question paper. It is very important for candidates to be familiar with the AILET test pattern as it help students to develop a better strategy and study plan.

Work on time management – Even though there is no time limit but candidates will get only 90 minutes to attempt 150 questions. This means candidates should solve and attempt the questions in seconds. Filling OMR sheet adds to the time-related stress. Therefore, to deal with the situation, candidates should work on their time-management skills to attempt all/maximum questions of AILET 2026. They can improve time management by taking mock-tests within 1 hour 90 minutes. Candidates should devote time on sections as per the requirements only, that is, English and Logical Reasoning sections will need time to solve questions whereas, GK and Current Affairs section may not. Therefore, candidates should improve their speed of solving questions and accuracy rate to score well and avoid negative marking.

Practice regularly – Candidates should practice mock-tests no matter how confident they are about their preparation. The practice would give an overall analysis of exam preparation as well as insights about strengths and weaknesses. Moreover, candidates can practise previous years question papers for AILET to get an idea about the real examination. However, they should make sure to practice three to four mock tests based on the new pattern of AILET. While practising the question/mock papers, candidates should set the time limit of 90 minutes to know how many questions they can attempt in the given duration, and accordingly, improve the weak areas (if any).

Revise – In the remaining days, candidates should revise for AILET with notes and study material with which they had prepared for the exam. This will help you in remembering the concept for a longer duration and save time in the examination. The revision will help you avoid confusions among the options for any question. Candidates will be required to attempt questions on basis of their memory majorly, therefore candidates should also work on improving memory and concentration during the AILET preparation.
