In MHCET Law 2026 exam, the sectional weightage is there that helps candidates understand which topic needs to be focused in the MH CET Law Question Paper 2026 to score high in the entrance exam. The MH CET law 2026 syllabus for the 5-year LLB is of the intermediate level, whereas the syllabus for the 3-year LLB is of the graduation level. 

The question paper of MHCET Law 2026 will contain 120 objective-type questions of one mark each. The exam will be of two hours duration and will be held in a Computer-based-test mode.

Candidates appearing for the five-year LLB course of MH CET Law will have to attempt five sections including, Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning, English, Mathematics, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. Those appearing for the three-year LLB course have to attempt the same four sections except for Mathematics. MHCET Law Syllabus 2026 will be of Class 12/ SSC level for five-year LLB courses paper and, of graduate-level for LLB course paper.

Legal Aptitude and Reasoning Topics such as Study of law, Research aptitude, and problem-solving ability, Legal prepositions and a set of facts, Indian Constitution, Law of Torts, Contract Law, and IP Rights should be prepared for the entrance exams.
Logical and Analytical Reasoning Aspirants must focus on topics such as Patterns, logical links, and rectifying illogical arguments, Wide analogies, completing arguments, syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, relationships, etc., for the law entrance.
GK & Current Affairs In this section, important topics such as Indian History, Geography, Economics, Awards and personalities, Sports, Environment, and current affairs related to the legal domain will be seen in the exam.
English Language Candidates can practice topics such as Vocabulary, English comprehension, English usage errors (common errors, spotting errors, inappropriate usage of words), one-word substitutions, sentence improvement, and rearrangement for the exam.

No, even though the MHCET LAW examination is conducted by the same body for both courses, the question papers are different. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test law 3-year LL.B. Question paper and 5-year LL.B. Question paper contain questions in 4 and 5 sections. However, questions in the two question papers are different. The difficulty level of the question papers for the two types of law courses will be different.

The last date to make changes to the MH CET Law application form for the 3-year LLB course is March 11, 2026. Post this date, no candidate will be allowed to make any corrections. No application fee will be accepted after this date for the 3-year LLB course.

Yes, there is a proper and centralized counselling process for MH CET Law, called the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). It's managed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. The process usually happens in three rounds for both LLB 3-year and LLB 5-year courses.

The CET Cell extended the MH CET Law 2026 registration dates for the 3-year LLB programme till March 3, 2026. For the 5-year LLB course, the last date is March 15, 2026.

You should wear plain and comfy clothes, nothing fancy or shiny. Don't put on metal things like belts or jewelry. Keep away from caps, scarves, or shoes that got thick soles. Only bring simple stationery, no gadgets or watches. Light color dress with few pockets help you pass security check fast.
