SLAT 2026 Mock Test - The facility of a mock test is provided for the SLAT 2026 exam by the Symbiosis International (deemed University) to the registered candidates of SLAT 2026. Only those candidates who complete the SLAT registration will get the SLAT mock test 2026 online link. 

The SLAT 2026 exam will be a computer-based test. Hence, SIU conducts mock tests for the candidates to get familiar with the CBT interface once before the examination.This link will be shared with candidates through SMS, Email, and WhatsApp. Candidates will have to book their slots to take the mock tests. The SLAT 2026 mock test is most important part for candidates preparing for the examination.

Q:   Is SLAT easier than CLAT?

Both the exams, SLAT & CLAT are based on the 10+2 level syllabus and candidates may find both the exams' difficulty on the same level. The syllabus for both the exam also stands on a similar page and the exams consist of questions from Logical and legal reasoning, analytical reasoning, reading comprehension, & General Knowledge. Candidates can appear for both the exams to increase their possibility of admission to the top colleges in India.

Q:   How can I prepare for SLAT from Class 11?
A: 

Candidates can prepare for SLAT from Class 11 by practising topics from which questions are asked in the exam. The topics of subjects from which questions are asked in SLAT are Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension (English), and General Knowledge. Under the General Knowledge subject, SLAT aspirants also need to study static GK related to History, Geography, Indian and International Politics, and United Nations Organisation (UNO) and its bodies, and current affairs. To study the mentioned subjects for SLAT preparation from Class 11, candidates can purchase books containing sample papers, practice tests, and mock tests based on the SLAT syllabus and pattern. They can devote 1-2 hours every day to SALT preparation. Preparing for the SLAT from Class 12 can provide aspirants with a competitive edge because they will have more than a year to prepare for the entrance exam effectively.

Q:   How many Symbiosis colleges accept SLAT scores?
A: 
A total of 4 colleges, including SLS Nagpur, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Pune, accept the SLAT exam. Candidates need to pass the SLAT exam, PI and What to get admission to one of the four colleges that accept SLAT scores. The weightage for SLAT PI and What will be considered for admission to Symbiosis Law College. The weight of the SLAT entrance test will be 50 marks. The weights of PI and What will be 30 marks and 20 marks, respectively.
Q:   What is SLAT 2026 exam?
A: 

SLAT 2026 refers to the Symbiosis Law Admission Test which is conducted by the four SLSs (Symbiosis Law Schools) in India. The SLAT exam is conducted on two dates and candidates will have the option to appear in both of one. The best score among the both will be considered for preparing the merit list & result.

How to take SLAT 2026 Mock Test?

SLAT 2026 mock test will be made available on the SIU portal to the registered candidates only. The candidates who did not register for SLAT by paying the application fee will not be able to participate in it.

To participate in the SLAT mock test, candidates have to follow the steps given below:

  • Register for SLAT by the deadline
  • Book mock test slots.
  • The details of the mock tests will be sent to the candidates.
  • On the day of the mock test, follow the mock test details and take the mock.

Q:   Do I need to cover the entire syllabus for SLAT preparation?

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test authority does not provide subtle details about the SLAT syllabus. Thus, the syllabus for SLAT cannot be specified accurately. The exam authority only shares the details associated with the sections related to the SLAT question paper, which are Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General English, and General Knowledge. Thus, candidates only study to prepare for relevant sections along with mathematics (of level up to Class 10) and current affairs to prepare for SLAT.

 

Q:   How many questions do I need to attempt to become a topper of the SLAT exam?
A: 

To become a topper of the SLAT exam, a candidate needs to attempt all the questions asked. There is no negative marking in SLAT. Thus, attempt all the questions.

SLAT 2026 Mock Test Instructions

The SLAT mock test for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB is available at the official website. Follow the pointers given below,

  • Go to the official website.
  • On the home page and go to the notification section.
  • Now, click on the Mock Test tab.
  • Log in using the login credentials to take the mock test.

The test will begin after clicking the tab mentioning 'Start test' and the candidates will only be able to see one question at a time. The candidates can Bookmark the questions and the summary of the number of questions will be available on the screen.

No, the SLAT results for all the Symbiosis Laws (SLSs) are not announced separately. These SLSs are SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Nagpur, and SLS Hyderabad. The SLAT results for all SLSs are released at the same time. Here, all candidates must be aware that all SLSs simultaneously announce the SLAT exam results for Tests 1 and Test 2. To allow candidates to check SLAT results for all SLS, Symbiosis International University (SIU) publishes them on the website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test, set-test. Org. In PI questions are asked to evaluate the overall personality of candidates and their aspirations as future lawyers. These questions carry a weightage of 30 (equal to 30%). Only those who qualify for the SLAT exam and What are eligible to appear in the SLAT PI. The questions of SLAT PI are of the behavioural category generally and associated with fundamental concepts of law. Interviewers in SLAT PI also ask why they want to study at Symbiosis Law School (which can also be specific to a particular SLS) and their strengths and weaknesses.

Normally the cutoff for SLS Pune is 48+ score for SLAT exam. Students appearing for SLAT 2026 and aiming to get an admission in SLS Pune should try to get a score of over 48. Students also have to go through a Personal Interview round and WAT, to get admission in SLS Pune.
