Management Aptitude Test 2026 ( MAT )
I gave MAT exam and got a good score, many colleges approached me but I wanted to take admission in a college where practical aspect of the subject was taught. I got to know about ICFAI Business School and then I searched details like teaching and placement of the college and found it to be impressive.
I and a friend of mine, cracked IBSAF exam for admission in this college. Then, we went to Hyderabad to give the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. As luck would have it we both cracked it.

This is how our journey began. ICFAI changed our lives and lifestyle. The best part of the college is its faculty which is a blessing for students. Today, I am working in a reputed MNC. I am working towards achieving my goals as well as the organisation’s goal.
My college life: classes, extra-curricular activities and more
During my post-graduation, I was very nervous that how will I manage in the college. But, my faculty members helped me out in each and every step. There were more like friends to me. One of the most important thing that formed a part of my college life during my learning phase was case studies. Believe me, no book can provide you any education until and unless you apply the things taught in practical life. All management fundas we were taught, we applied in our case studies and this is a learning of a lifetime for me.

MAT exam duration is 120 minutes or 2 hours. Candidates have to solve 150 questions in the given time limit. There is no sectional time limit in MAT.

MAT exam is held multiple times in a year. There are four MAT phases- February, May, August and December. In each of these months, the exam is conducted at least twice – 1 PBT and 1 CBT.

The overall difficulty level of MAT is easy to moderate. Despite having 150 questions, the test paper is usually doable and candidates can easily attempt 100-120 questions.

Yes, MAT exam is MCQ types. There are no subjective type or TITA questions. Every question carries 4 answer options. Candidates have to select one option as correct answer.

Yes, you can apply to GIBS institute after taking the MAT entrance examination. The institute accepts the results for admission to the MBA/PGDM course. Candidates should attain a score above 60 to increase their chance of admission. To know the cutoff for various years, click here.

Yes, CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores are valid for KIITEE MBA. Candidates applying online will be required to submit copies of their mark sheets and other supporting documents.

Yes, you will get a rank in the MAT exam, usually called your All India Rank (AIR).
Your rank is decided based on your overall MAT score and percentile compared to all other candidates who appeared in the same session.
