NMAT Registration and Application Form 2019 is available till October 4, 2019. Check here how to apply for NMAT by GMAC 2019 including application dates, fees and other details.

NMAT by GMAC Registration 2019 has started from July 02, 2019 and candidates can apply for the exam in online mode only. NMAT exam is held thrice in one admission cycle i.e. Main exam and two retakes, therefore candidates need to register and schedule the examination for each attempt. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has given candidates the choice to schedule their own examination as per their convenience from the 75 days testing window.

  1. Visit the official website nmat.org or from direct link of NMAT 2019 application form
  2. Register for NMAT by GMAC with details – First Name, Last Name, E-mail address, Mobile Number, Country and Security code
  3. Click on ‘Create an Account’ and a confirmation message will be sent on the entered e-mail ID and mobile number
  4. Check your email account and mobile phone for the confirmation message and click on the link to verify and confirm registration
  5. After this, you will be directed to NMAT login page, you need to login with existing user account with email ID and mobile number as registered and password will be the same as sent by NMAT by GMAC in another email

The application form comprises – personal details, contact information, education and work experience, school preference, additional information declaration and fee payment. Check below how to fill each step of NMAT by GMAC application:

Step 1: Personal Details

Identity information

  • Title – Mr, Miss, Mrs, Dr
  • Name – first name, middle name, last name
  • Gender – Male, female, third gender
  • Date of Birth – DD/MM/YY
  • Age – as on July 1, 2019
  • Category – DT, GEN, NT, OBC, SC, ST, Other
  • Nationality – select country
  • Language – mother tongue/regional language
  • Upload photo – maximum file size should be upto 1MB and JPEG, JPG and PNG format only

Parents details

Mother and Father’s name as per your official documents

Identity proof

Select Photo ID, Signature ID and fill details like ID number and name on it to carry on the exam day

Special needs

Select if you are differently abled

If no, then skip this step

If yes, then select type of disability from:

  • Blindness
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Mental Illness
  • Leprosy-cured
  • Learning disability and dyslexia
  • Low vision
  • Loco motor disability
  • Hearing impairment
  • Other – mention in another box

Step 2: Contact Information

Fill the following details in this step of NMAT application process:

  • Contact details - mobile number and primary email ID (as registered), alternate email ID, and alternate mobile number
  • Address for communication – Select country, complete residential address, Pincode of your area and select if the address is permanent or not.

Step 3: Education and Work Experience

  • Select your highest education level – appearing or passed graduation or completed master’ degree
  • Select work experience - If yes, fill work experience details including:

Type of engagement – Employee, Self-employed, Entrepreneur

Sector – Public, Private, Not for Profit

Experience in Years – between less than 1 and more than 15 years of experience

  • Enter name of current employer/organisation

Step 4: School Preference

  • Select the preferred B-schools from the list of schools so that GMAC can send your scores electronically after announcement of NMAT 2019 results.
  • You can select up to five MBA colleges for NMAT by GMAC, for any additional selection, you have to pay Rs. 236 as additional charges along with application fee
  • Before selecting B-schools, check NMAT 2019 eligibility criteria by each participating institute
  • Countries for B-schools accepting NMAT scores – India, South Africa, Philippines, Nigeria

Read declaration terms and click on I agree and, select save and continue to next step of NMAT 2019 application process

Step 7: NMAT application fee payment

The application fee for NMAT by GMAC can be paid in online mode using:

  • Visa/Master Debit Cards, Credit Cards
  • American Express Card
  • Net Banking option
  • Diners Club Card or,
  • Mobile Wallets

The entire process of NMAT 2019 application is in online mode only, candidates cannot apply in any other mode. Moreover, they need not submit the hard copy of application form in offline mode rather keep it with themselves for future references.

GMAC releases the NMAT admit card 7 days before the exam date. Candidates can find the NMAT admit card download link inside the login dashboard available on the official website. The admit card for NMAT exam is downloadable until the exam date.
