KMAT Eligibility Criteria for MBA/PGDM
- Candidates should have a bachelor's degree of 3 year duration from any recognised college/institute.
- They must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate.
- If the candidates belong to SC or ST category, they should have obtained at least 45% aggregate in all subjects of their final year of graduation.
- Candidates appearing for the final year examination of their bachelor's degree are also eligible.
- Candidates who passed a Master’s degree examination in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering & Technology streams from any recognised institute/university are also eligible to apply for KMAT 2026.

KMAT 2026 Eligibility for MCA
- Candidates seeking admission to MCA courses through KMAT 2026 exam must hold a bachelor degree in any stream.
- They must have secured 50% aggregate in the final year examination of their bachelor degree.
- Moreover, they must have studied Mathematics subject at their Class 12 level examinations.

Candidates belonging to any part of the country are eligible to apply for the KMAT exam. Candidates can apply for KMAT 2026 irrespective of their locality status/residential address. Earlier, KMAT eligibility as prescribed by KPPGCA, stated that only candidates residing in Karnataka can apply for the exam. KPPGCA has removed the domicile criteria now. As per the information on the web, the closing rank for GM category in 2025 was 11442 in round 3. So, yes candidate can pursue MCA from NIE Mysore. The chances may be low, because the priority is given to candidate with higher ranks.

Kerala KMAT I a medium difficulty level exam. The test is designed in such a way that candidates are tested on the English, Reasoning, Quantitative and GK knowledge. 3-4 months of preparation is enough to crack this exam.
