 How to deal with failure?

“Failure is not the opposite of success, it is a part of success.” Your failure, rather the performance lower than your expectations, is not where the world ends. So, take a deep breath and relax. Then decide your next step, now you have two ways and you have to choose any one - restart your preparation to appear again next year or move forward with the score you have achieved with a promise to do better in further career.

Once the result is out, create the list of universities for which your score is eligible. Then compare the basic parameters and begin your shortlisting procedure. Look for the placement opportunities, industrial tie-ups, infrastructure, exposure, fee structure, accommodation facility, course module, etc. Keep a few options in your hand and sit for various GD& PI. Patience is highly demanded during this shortlisting, preparing and selection process.

Suggestions to increase the score

This is the most important suggestion to increase the score of not only CMAT but every other exam. It is very simple, I will convey it in only two points. - make sure not to repeat the same mistakes and work on your weaknesses while polishing your strengths. That’s it. Follow these two points and you will surely score better than ever.

Three months may not be enough for CMAT preparation, if you're doing it from scratch. However, if you are preparing for CAT, XAT, NMAT, you can prepare for CMAT in 3 months as you have clear understanding of the syllabus already and you will need exam specific practice only.

No, candidates are not required to appear in CMAT to be eligible for BTech in CSE + MBA integated course at UIT, Karnavati University. For this course, candidates are required to appear in either JEE Mains or GUJCET to qualify for admissions.

If you have appeared for CMAT before and have complete conceptual clarity of topics, you can prepare for CMAT with mock test practice only.

Manorama Year Book, Lucent's General Knowledge will be a good source to prepare static GK for CMAT. Apart from that, you should refer Pratiyogita Darpan and GK Today for current affairs.
