To prepare for IIFT Extempore and PI, now is the time to start as this round will be held in February end or early March. Earlier, the institute used to conduct Essay Writing and Group Discussion along with PI, but due to the pandemic the two have been replaced with Extempore. The schedule for this round of IIFT admission will be shared with the shortlisted candidates.

Q:   When will IIFT result 2024 be announced?
A:

Since the IIFT entrance exam was not held this year, only the final result was announced after the PI-WAT round. The final result or the final selection list was released on May 28, 2024. The merit list was released online at the institute website. It was released in the form of downloadable PDFs. The merit list contains selected candidates’ names and roll numbers.

Once the IIFT result is announced, candidates have to fulfill the admission requirement within the deadline which includes accepting of offer, completing admission formalities and paying the admission fees.

Q:   For how long is IIFT exam score valid?
A:

IIFT exam score is valid only for one year. For example, IIFT 2024 exam score will be valid for 2024 academic session only. If one wishes to drop a year, then they will have to appear for IIFT entrance exam next year again which will include fresh registration and payment of application fees. The selection criteria for IIFT MBA exam includes personality assessment and if a candidate does not clear that round, they will not be selected for admission. Thus, candidates must keep in mind that only a good entrance exam score is not enough for IIFT MBA admission.

Q:   Can I raise objection after the IIFT result has been declared?
A:

The candidates will be allowed to raise objection to IIFT answer key only until the objection window is open. No request will be accepted once the answer key challenge window closes on the NTA-IIFT website. The scores mentioned in the IIFT result will be final based on the final answer key, revised after examination of the objections received, so there will be no provision of challenging the official answer keys later. Test takers must ensure they fill the IIFT answer key objection form within the window so that their objections are accepted and examined.
