IIFT Kolkata cut offs are lower than IIFT Delhi cut offs and IIFT Kakinada cut offs are the lowest. However, all the three institutes follow the common admission process for MBA-International Business programme, which includes Writing Ability Test, Personal Interview and Group Discussion. Candidates have to clear all the rounds for securing a seat in MBA programme offered at any campus.

Q: Is IIFT score valid for admission to other MBA institutes?

IIFT exam score is valid for admission to IIFT Institutes only – IIFT Delhi, IIFT Kolkata and IIFT Kakinada. No other MBA/PGDM institute accepts IIFT exam score for admission. The exam scores are accepted for admission to MBA International Business and MBA Business Analytics. The latter has been introduced in 2023 academic year. For, 2024-26 batch, the IIFT score will not be accepted by the institute itself too as it has decided to shortlist candidates on the basis of their CAT 2023 score. In fact, the institute will not conduct the IIFT entrance exam for admission to the 2024-26 batch.

If a candidate does not clear the sectional cut-offs of the IIFT entrance exam they will not be shortlisted for essay writing, GD and PI rounds of IIFT admission for MBA-International Business. Clearing sectional cut off is mandatory for getting shortlisted. Candidates preparing for IIFT MBA admission must ensure that they prepare and perform equally well in all the four sections of the exam to meet the sectional cut off. The sectional and overall cut offs for IIFT MBA admission are different for the Unreserved and Reserved categories but every aspirant has to meet the minimum requirement as set by the institute.

IIFT cut off for admission to 2024-2026 batch was declared in February 2024. The cut offs was released by the institute on its official website along with shortlist criteria and admission process details. For 2024-2026 batch: Sectional cut off for General category is 55 and and composite cut off is 30%. For Gen-EWS/OBC-NCL, the sectional cut off is 50 and the composite cut off is 25%. For, SC/ST/PwD/Kashmiri Migrants, Kashmiri Pandits, the sectional cut off is 30 and composite cut off is 20 %. For the previous batch of MBA International Business programme, the IIFT cut offs for General category was 40 percentile, whereas for General-EWS and NC-OBC categories, the cut off was 35 percentile. For SC/ST/PwD/KashmiriMigrants/Non-Migrants, the IIFT cut off 2023 was 30 percentile.

How to Challenge IIFT Answer Key?

The NTA provided option to challenge the official IIFT answer key. In case, they think an answer (answers) is incorrect, they can challenge it by filling a form online and paying INR 200 per question. The fees is to be paid online by credit/debit card/net banking/ PAYTM/UPI services. If the challenge is found correct, the processing fee will be refunded to the candidate within a seven to ten working days.
