Candidates are divided in groups of eight. Each group is given a topic from business, economics, politics or society, This round is of 20 minutes (5 minutes to think, 15 minutes to write). The WAT was not conducted in last two years due to COVID-19.
Group Discussion/Extempore
In the GD round, a group of 8-10 candidates is given a topic to discuss. The GD begins with each candidate introducing themselves and sharing their opinion on the topic. Once all have spoken, the floor is left open for everyone to discuss. The total time limit of this round is 30 minutes.

Personal Interview
The PI is a personality assessment round, in which candidates interact with admission panel. They are asked questions related to their work experience, education, etc. but the focus remains on assessing the candidate’s communication ability, presence of mind and problem solving skills.
