XAT correction window 2027 will open 2-3 times during the ongoing registration process. This will give candidates a chance to update their already submitted XAT form with latest information such as academic score or change preference regarding test cities. They can also upload better copies of their passport size photo and signature.

XAT registration process 2027 started on July 15 and will end on December 6, 2026. Usually, the form correction window for any entrance exam opens after the closure of registration process and XLRI Jamshedpur followed the same until 2024. In 2025, the institute changed the process and decided to open the XAT correction window during the application cycle, for already registered candidates.

XAT Form Correction 2027: Why is it Important to Edit Form?

Information mentioned in XAT application form 2027 will be verified at the time of admission so it is important to furnish correct details in the form. Candidate details mentioned in the XAT form will be used for test city allotment. In case one makes a mistake in the XAT registration form, can rectify it during the correction window so that, the information recorded is valid and verifiable. Incorrect information may lead to cancellation of candidature. 

XAT Form Correction 2027: Fields That Can be Edited

Only a limited number of fields can be edited in the XAT registration form 2027. Given below is the list of fields that the candidate can edit during the XAT form correction window:

• Basic details such as gender, nationality, address, parents’ details
• Academic details such as scores and university name
• Work experience – can add details of the company
• Test city – can change the preference or order of preference
• Upload documents – can upload better resolution photo and signature
• Declaration – update details in declaration section

XAT Form Correction 2027: Fields That Cannot be Edited

While a good number of sections will be open for editing in the XAT registration form 2027, the following fields will not be open for editing:

• Name of the candidate
• Date of birth
• Phone number
• Email ID
• XAT exam fees payment details

XAT Form Correction Process 2027

Follow the below given steps to make changes in your already submitted XAT form 2027.

1. Visit the official website of XAT 2027 - xatonline.in 
2. Click on XAT 2027 login and select existing user option
3. Enter your XAT email ID and password to login
4. Go to application form tab and click on edit application option displayed
5. Go to the section in which you wish to make changes
6. Make the changes in relevant fields and preview all entries
7. Once satisfied, click on submit button to complete the process

XAT form correction is a one time process, once you’ve saved changes after edit, your form will get locked and no further changes will be allowed.

XAT Correction Window Dates 2026

Last year, XAT correction window was opened thrice during the application process. This year too, XLRI may allow candidates more than one window to make changes in the XAT registration form.
