XAT Practice Questions – Decision Making
- You, a recruitment manager, are interviewing Mohan, a hardworking young man, who has problems in speaking fluent English. He has studied in vernacular medium schools and colleges. Amongst the following options, what would you choose to do, if your company has vacancies?
- I would hire him at all costs.
- I would hire him for the job he is good at, and provide training in other areas.

Direction for questions 1 to 3: Four Friends, Anita, Bhawna, Charu, and Divya went to a fruit market in Uttam Nagar and bought a total of 55 items of fruits of 3 categories-Mango, Strawberry, and Pineapple
The following facts are also known about the categories:
- Out of the total fruits purchased by Charu, 3/7th belonged to mangoes and 2/7th to Pineapples.
- The total number of fruits purchased by Divya was less than the number of strawberries purchased by Anita.
III. The number of Mangoes purchased by Bhawna is the average of the number of fruits he purchased in the other two categories. The number of Pineapples purchased by Bhawna is more than the number of mangoes he purchased.
