Aspirants planning to make a career in AYUSH can pursue these top five courses after appearing for and clearing NEET.
AYUSH courses in India have gained popularity in the past decade after many people are looking for alternative medicine options. These courses have always been a part of the treatment options in India but their wide reach, acceptability and the simple fact that these medicines do not have any side effects have made these courses even more popular. Also, treatment using a generic medicine is not always as effective as they aim at treating the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause of the diseases in the patients. This has led to the increasing inclination of people towards the ancient healing methods of India. The Ministry of AYUSH was also established to promote this form of medicine. For admission to the AYUSH courses in India, one has to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Ayush counselling 2025 has started with online registration on Augsut 22, 2025. Yes, BSc Nursing course admission is conducted through NEET scores for certain colleges. Hence, if you are planning to pursue Nursing courses, then you can appear for NEET. While filling the NEET application form, you need to select the courses or colleges. If you qualify for the exam by securing the cutoff marks, and be eligible for the counselling process, there you have to select the Nursing courses or colleges which you are vying for. However, a few top colleges or institutes are still conducting their own Nursing entrance exams, such as AIIMS, PGIMER, KGMU, to name a few.
