Karnataka NEET Merit List 2025 was released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The Karnataka NEET counselling 2025 process is ongoing presently. Read on to know more about the KEA UGNEET Counselling process here.

Karnataka NEET Merit List 2025 was released by the KEA on the official website for the candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling. KEA does not release the merit list after each round of counselling. However, KEA NEET merit list for the candidates who applied via Sports quota was released seperately. Applicants who chose Karnataka as their preferred state at the time of filling the NEET UG application form on the NTA website can check their name in the merit cum domicile list. The provisional merit list was released on July 3, 2025. Do not consider this as the final merit list. Technically, it is a list of candidates who have a domicile in Karnataka. The Karnataka NEET registration for the KEA UGNEET 2025 counselling concluded on July 17, 2025. All the counselling-related information and process will be carried out through the official website dedicated to KEA UGNEET counselling 2025, i.e., cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Karnataka NEET Merit List 2025 is a reference document in which the name of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling is mentioned. KEA will not release any further merit list for the aspirants. Only the Karnataka UGNEET Seat allotment result will be released after each round of counselling, which will be updated here also. Candidates will be able to check and download the Karnataka NEET Allotment List 2025 PDF document through the direct links, which will be updated here after each round of counselling.

How to Check Karnataka NEET Merit List 2025?

Follow the steps given below to check the Karnataka NEET Merit List 2025:

  1. Visit the KEA NEET UG official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
  2. Click on the UGNEET 2025 option under the ‘Admission’ tab provided on the homepage.
  3. Click on ‘List of Candidates who have claimed Karnataka State in their UGNEET 2025 NTA application’ notification.
  4. A detailed PDF document will be displayed on the screen, providing a list of approx. 87000 applicants.
  5. Search for your NEET Roll No in the Karnataka NEET provisional merit list.
  6. The final Karnataka NEET Merit List will be shared by KEA soon after the registration for UGNEET concludes.
Q:   When will KEA release Seat allotment list for candidates?
A:

KEA releases the seat allotment list after candidates have exercised choice filling and option locking. A list of the candidates who have been allotted a seat in the Karnataka NEET 2025 counselling will be published on the official website dedicated to KEA counselling. The seat allotment list will be prepared on the basis of the merit of a candidate and the choices filled by him/her.

Q:   When will the Option entry window for the Karnataka UGNEET open?
A:

Karnataka NEET 2025 open entry window is currently active for the Round-1 counselling. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process either through UGCET 2025 or UGNEET 2025 application window, they can proceed to exercise option from July 17, 2025. The KEA option entry window for each round of counselling will open seperately after the release of Seat matrix for each round of counselling. Candidates can exercise numerous options and fill as many choices as they wish to for college and courses. The candidate who becomes eligible after verification will only be considered for entry of options. Candidates are also advised to enter the options within the stipulated time. Please do not wait till the last date fixed to enter the options.

Karnataka NEET Counselling Process 2025

Karnataka NEET counselling process is conducted by the KARNATAKA EXAMINATIONS AUTHORITY (KEA). The entire counselling process will be held in three rounds in online mode at the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Take a look at all the steps to be followed to participate in the Karnataka NEET counselling process 2025:

  1. Registration: KEA NEET counselling begins with candidates registering for the counselling process. This year, KEA began the application process in January 2025, which is before the NEET exam result announcement. Candidates were urged to apply for KEA counselling through UGCET 2025. Those candidates who could not apply in this window can apply now for the UGNEET till July 17, 2025, on the official website.
  2. Release of Seat Matrix: The Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025 Round 1 seat matrix will be released so that eligible candidates can exercise the OPTION entries. Candidates belonging to different categories will have to exercise the options accordingly. KEA will release the seat matrix for NRI quota, Private quota, Government Special category quota, Hyd-Kar quota, and General quota candidates for both MBBS and Dental programmes.
  3. Verification of Documents: It is an important step. Candidates who register for the counselling, their documents verified before starting the option entry process. Participants will have to upload the required documents online through the Karnataka UGNEET counselling portal.
  4. KEA Secret Key and Choice Filling: Along with the acknowledgment slip, eligible candidates will also be provided with a secret key. This key is mandatory to fill in the choices on the ‘Option-entry portal’. Candidates are advised to keep the secret key to themselves and maintain confidentiality at all times. There is no limit to the number of options in Karnataka NEET counselling.
  5. Seat Allotment List: KEA will release a list of the candidates who will be allotted a seat in the counselling of Karnataka NEET 2025. The seat allotment lists will be prepared based on the merit of a candidate and the choices filled by him/her.
