NEET 2020 Analysis & Expected Cutoff by Aakash Institute

Aakash Institute has released the NEET 2020 exam analysis and expected cutoff. In spite of the COVID-19 scare in India, nearly 90 per cent of the candidates who had filled the applications took the examination on September 13. The examination was conducted in an offline mode and NTA ensured that safety protocols were followed inside the test centres.

Candidates who had appeared for the examination can read about the NEET analysis and expected cut off released by Aakash Institute in this article. They will be able to analyse their performance better after reading the review and NEET analysis 2020. NTA will release the official answer key of NEET 2020 in the third week of September. This will further give candidates a clarity about their performance in this examination. NEET 2020 result is expected to be announced in the last week of September.

According to the detailed NEET analysis 2020 by Aakash institute, the overall difficulty level of the Physics section was easy. As compared to the previous year, this year Physics section has easy numerical-based questions. There were no controversial or tricky questions in this section. Around 30-40 per cent questions in this section were directly from the NCERT books.

Chemistry section

NEET 2020 analysis by Aakash for Chemistry

As suggested by NEET 2020 analysis by Aakash institute, this section was easy to moderate. All questions in the Chemistry section of NEET 2020 were based on NCERT. There were a few questions/statements that were picked directly from the NCERT books. Questions in the Chemistry section were easy and straightforward. This section was not lengthy and could be easily solved by well-prepared candidates. 

There were hardly any numerical based questions in the Chemistry section. According to the NEET 2020 analysis by Aakash, an average performer also could have solved at least 40 questions in this section without any difficulty.

Botany Section

NEET 2020 analysis by Aakash for Botony

This section was tougher this year as compared to the previous years. There were nearly 43 questions from Botany this year. Questions were mostly asked from the syllabus of Class 12, nearly 25 questions. There were two questions that can be considered controversial as they had two or more correct answers. 

Most of the questions in this section were conceptual. Only a few fact-based questions were asked in NEET 2020.

Zoology Section

NEET 2020 analysis by Aakash for Zoology

According to the NEET 2020 analysis by Aakash institute, the Zoology section of the question paper was moderately difficult. There were a few questions that were beyond the scope of NCERT. This section had the most number of tricky and required precision. Two questions in this section tested the linguistic prowess of students, there were others that required comprehension, application, and synthesis to interpret the questions.
