
NEET Application Form 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued an advisory on January 5, 2026, instructing aspirants to get Aadhaar card, UDID card and category certificate updated before registering online for NEET UG 2026. With the release of the advisory, it is expected that the NEET 2026 registration form will be available soon at neet.nta.nic.in. The NEET form dates will be announced in the notification and information brochure. The NEET registration 2026 link will be available for around a month.
The NTA will provide the NEET form correction 2026 facility after the closing of the application window. Registered candidates can use this window to make corrections to the already submitted NEET 2026 application form. Lakhs of candidates will be applying for the NEET 2026 to pursue MBBS or BDS.

Candidates need not send any documents by post to NTA. The entire application process for NEET is online and the relevant documents had to be uploaded online only. Candidates had to upload the documents or files in the requisite format and size/dimensions only. Otherwise the system will not accept or upload the files which will hamper filling up the NEET application form process.
NEET Application Form Correction 2026
NTA will open the NEET application correction facility for the registered candidates, wherein they are given a chance to make necessary corrections or changes. The NEET 2026 application correction window will be active for three days. Only those candidates submitting the NEET application form 2026 by paying the requisite application fee within the stipulated date will be eligible to avail of the NEET application correction facility. - Log in with the NEET 2026 registration details.
- Click on the tab Correction in Application Form.
- Read the instructions.
- Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number for verification.

There was no additional fee to make corrections in the NEET registration 2026. However, there are a few fields which can not be edited. These fields included name, email ID and mobile number.

Yes, it is necessary to correct your father's name in the Aadhaar card as per your Class 10 mark sheet before filling the NEET 2025 application form. Since the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification mentioning the mandate of Aadhaar Card for the application process. NTA has stated, "Aspirants are advised to ensure that their Aadhaar details (especially their name and date of birth as per 10th passing certificate), including facial recognition data, are up to date for an optimal experience during registration process and verification processes. This can be done at the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center." Also, this year, the Aadhaar number will be used to auto-fill the NEET application form to reduce manual errors. Hence, it is all the more important to correct personal and educational details in the Aadhaar Card before the application process commencement.
Candidates can face problem while filling the NEET application form or while paying the application fee. This may be because of the server issue or high traffic on the website. NTA advises candidates to check internet connection while filling up the application form. In case the issue prevails, one should connect with the assigned person on the helpline number given in the NEET information bulletin.
Once the NEET registration process is completed and the login credentials are generated, candidates are advised to save and preserve those for future usage. In case candidates are unable to login, they should first check whether the NEET application number, password and security pin or captcha entered are correct or not. In case either of the information is wrong, it will not be possible to login. In that case, they have to click on the Forgot Your Password or Forgot Your Application tabs and retrieve it either through Security Question or through Reset Link sent to their registered email address.
