The last date to apply for the NEET UG 2026 exam is March 8, 2026. The NTA makes the NEET application form 2026 available for around 30 days.

Yes, Aadhaar card is mandatory to make APAAR ID for NEET 2026 registration. The APAAR is linked to the Aadhaar number of candidates.

The APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET UG 2026 exam. It is an optional documents required for NEET 2026 application form. However, having the APAAR ID makes it easier for applicants to apply for the exam.

In NEET 2026 application process, the NTA has introduced the live photo capture facility for candidates. Those applying online for the exam need to capture their live photograph as per the given guidelines-

• Switch on the camera or connect the webcam to the device used for filling the NEET form. In case if the device does not support the webcam, then scan the QR code on the right side of the form.
• The background should be light-coloured.
• The NTA will match the captured live photograph with the Aadhaar database.

If candidates submit the NEET application form with an incorrect email address, they will not receive email notifications. NTA does not allow candidates to change or correct their email addresses in the application correction window.

Yes, it is necessary to correct your father's name in the Aadhaar card as per your Class 10 mark sheet before filling the NEET application form. Since the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification mentioning the mandate of Aadhaar Card for the application process. NTA has stated, "Aspirants are advised to ensure that their Aadhaar details (especially their name and date of birth as per 10th passing certificate), including facial recognition data, are up to date for an optimal experience during registration process and verification processes. This can be done at the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center." Also, this year, the Aadhaar number will be used to auto-fill the NEET application form to reduce manual errors.
