MPBSE Board 2026The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) commenced the MP Board Class 10th and 12th exams 2026. MPBSE class 10 exams will conclude on March 6, and class 12th exams on March 7, 2026. The Madhya Pradesh Board released the MPBSE 10th, 12th admit card 2026 on January 16, 2026. The students must note that the MP Board admit card 2026 for class 10 and 12 was released online only for the school heads at mpbse.mponline.gov.in. Established under the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Act of 1965, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education is a state education board that regulates secondary education in Madhya Pradesh state. Every year, Lakhs of students appear for the MP Board 12th exams. Last year, a total of 7,29,426 students registered for the exam. Out of which, 7,27,044 students appeared for the exam and 4,01,366 students cleared the MPBSE 12th exam. As far as the passing percentage is concerned, 55.28% of students declared pass in the exam. In the class 12 result, the pass percentage for boys was recorded at 52% and 58.75% of girls managed to pass the exam. This year too, more than 7 Lacs students are expected to appear for the exam.

Q:   What is the passing marks out of 75 in MP board class 10 exams?

Each paper of MPBSE 10th exam consist 100 marks. Out of which, 75 marks is for theory exam and 25 marks is for internal assessment/practicals. The students will be required to secure 24.75 Marks out of 75 marks (theory paper) to clear the exam.

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education put out a notice to warn students and parents about tricky people trying to cheat them in the name of increasing marks. These people pretend to be from the board and say they can raise marks in the exam for money. They do this offence from students and parents who want good marks in the exam.

Therefore, do not ever think that spending money can help you pass MPBSE High School or Higher Secondary exams with good marks.

Q:   What is the marking scheme of the MP Board 10th exam?
A: 

The board releases the MP Board class 10 sample paper for the students on its website. Sample papers released by the board also include the marking scheme of the exam. The total marks of each subject is 100. The subjects which have practical tests are marked as 80 for theory and 20 for practical. Both multiple-choice and subjective-type questions are asked in the exam.

Usually, each MCQ is of one mark. On the other hand, the marking scheme for subjective-type questions may vary from section to section. Students need to secure at least 33% marks in each subject to clear the exam.

The students must note that the students can appear for the compartment exam only if they have failed in maximum 2 papers. The MPBSE is expected to conduct the supplementary (2nd main) exams in July 2026. Result for the same is expected to be out in July/August 2026.

Q:   What is the duration of the MPBSE class 10 exam?
A: 

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education prescribes the exam pattern for the students which also includes the duration of the exam. Through model paper, the board provides exam patterns of board exams. The board will soon release the MP Board 12th model/sample paper for the students. Once released, students can download it from the official website of the board and on our website as well. As per last year’s exam paper, the duration of the MP Board Inter exam is three hours for each paper.

Students will be required to write the paper within three hours time. Hence, students must develop their time management skills so that they can complete the exam within the given time duration.

These people pretend to be from the board and say they can raise students' MPBSE 10th, 12th marks for money. They do this to make money from students and parents who want good marks in the final board exams 2025. Therefore, do not ever think about spending money for increasing marks this way.
