The college is good but needs some improvements.
Placements: We are the batch of 2025. The highest package of our college is 25 LPA. The average is 7 to 10 LPA. Meanwhile, the lowest will be 4 to 5 LPA. The recruiting companies for my college in my course would be management and finance companies. Top roles would be HR, Financial Analyst.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the college are good. We have air conditioning installed in every classroom. Wi-Fi is there but it is slow, labs are also good never studied there as it is not in my course, library is good and canteen is also the best in adjacent colleges as there is lot of options.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable as all the teachers are professors or Company Secretaries with some co authoring some books as well. The course is curriculum ready as per the national educational plan 2020. There are 7 subjects that are studied here 3 DSC, 1 SEC, 1 vac 1 GE, 1 AEC.
Other: I chose this course because I want to have a career in finance. There are many events organized in college as there are many societies in college. There is annual fest in February or March. The crowd is good except for the B.Sc. ones, as they are mainly from Haryana and have a village mentality.

In short its good and an above average college. There is some scope for improvement.
Placements: I am currently in my first year, but there are regular notifications regarding internships and placements in various firms and organisations at different locations. There is a separate WhatsApp group, and the group receives constant notifications regarding internships and placements.
Infrastructure: The college building is decent but the classrooms are really old fashioned. I feel like I am currently in school only. Infrastructure should be upgraded. Canteen food is good and affordable, the library and ground is good. Wi-Fi is also available. Good focus on sports.
Faculty: Most teachers are good but there are some teachers who are not very helpful or expressive. The commerce faculty is good. End of semester exams can be passed easily as most questions are repeated from past years, above average marks can be scored by just studying for the last month.
Other: Opted for this course because I was not eligible for the BBA at DU. Course and college life would have been better if there are not these AEC, VAC, SEC and GE unnecessary subjects.

The best decision of my life.
Placements: Our batch is not eligible for placements but recent records are showing decent placements. In 2025 the highest offered package is around 35 LPA and the average package is 8 LPA. I am not aware of the percentage of people who received internship opportunities but I believe that it is a decent number. Almost every big company comes to SRCC for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. There is a beautiful clock tower. The buildings are clean, well built, well maintained, and air conditioned. Washrooms are clean. I do not know a lot about the hostels. There is also a sports complex, which is simply great.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are great, some are not. The curriculum and exams are the same as those in every other DU college and their relevance is highly debatable. Many students pursue professional courses along with their graduation to compensate for this. The exams are easy though and the pass percentage is fairly high.

Good campus, good faculty, but the principal VK Palliwal creates a sometimes hostile environment.
Placements: The placements are not on par with other departments. Only about 10 to 20% of students get placed, with packages up to 3 LPA. Majorly, accounting companies come for placement, and only 1% of students get internships. Top roles are an assistant in a chemistry lab, so it's not very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, with good sports and NCC facilities. Well-maintained labs are available. There is no Wi-Fi around the campus, but the library is good and the biggest in all of DU. The mess is good. There are no hostels, but accommodation is available nearby. The ambience is good.
Faculty: Teachers generally explain concepts clearly and make lectures easier to understand, even for weak students. Faculty members are usually supportive and open to doubts. Dyal Singh provides a nice academic structure with good faculty and a good examination system. With hard work and consistency, students can have a productive and academically good experience at the college.
Other: Dyal Singh College has a very fun and chill environment. As far as the BSc Physical Science department is concerned, it is a relatively new department.

Amazing college, better than all the off campus college of Delhi University.
Placements: Placements: The highest placement offered is 12LPA, the placement cell prayas however post regular job opportunities and internship opportunities for every domain. Placement fest takes place every semester where ngos to medium companies recruit students. Courses like B.Sc. and B.Com have higher placement rates and better placement packages.
Infrastructure: The library and canteen of the college are excellent, classes are non air conditioned except for 4-5, Wi-Fi works fine except in the basement, the canteen really has a variety of food from north to south to chinese and snacks and drinks. Gurudwara is probably the best part of the college, there are at least 4 to 5 computer labs and computers are available in the library for the students to work. There is no affiliated hostel for this college.
Faculty: Teachers are absolutely friendly and amazing, and the course structure is on par with B.Sc. and B.Tech and probably better than private institutes. Despite the title of "BA", the course structure is very detailed and very informative. Even if the exams are more based on your critical thinking rather than ratta, if one takes classes seriously one can easily score well.
Other: One of the best things about the college is its prime location, CP is just 15 minutes away. College and fests are not very attractive as to what the expectations are but still you make the most out of it. The campus is small but the people are absolutely amazing and make your tenure worth it.

Absolutely satisfied with my course and college. The canteen and faculty are really great.
Placements: For my course, the placement is a bit average, but the highest package is up to 12 LPA, and the average is 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IEEE, Dabur, etc. From college, personally, I'm getting 1-2 internships, but that’s only if you have worked on your skills. Roles offered are mostly in robotics and electrical transducer circuit designing.
Infrastructure: The course and facilities are so good. I’ll say 8/10, just because sometimes they don't work properly, but the management is very hardworking. Everything is provided more than your needs, and the availability of access is great for students pursuing this course. The mess is kind of bad because of a lack of hygiene. Otherwise, the canteen menu is so good.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty assigned to every course are so good, personally, because our college is a women's college. They explain things very comfortably and convincingly. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant because the focus is primarily on electronics. The passing percentage is around 8.5/10. The examination pattern is based on previous years' questions.
Other: I choose this course as per my interest. Best things about my course is you gonna learn about digital hardware things in real world. Fest and campus is so good, you'll gonna enjoy the college and strictness in study as well.
