IIT Kanpur Phase-1 placement session
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has achieved a milestone in its ongoing Phase-1 placement session, which commenced on December 1, 2024. Within just seven days, the institute surpassed 1,000 job offers, with a total of 1,036 offers extended by the end of day 7, of which 963 have already been accepted. These offers, including both campus placements and Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), highlight the exceptional performance and demand for IIT Kanpur’s talented students.
IIT Kanpur International Job Offers
Notably, 22 students have secured international job offers, marking a significant achievement in this year's IIT Kanpur placement session. The session has attracted an impressive array of recruiters from a wide range of industries, including Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, Intel, Qualcomm, FedEx, Meesho, BPCL, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Databricks, Google, American Express, NPCI, SLB, Micron, and Reliance. The diversity and stature of these recruiters underscore the institute's ongoing commitment to developing industry-ready talent of the highest calibre.

IIT Kanpur BSc placements 2024 have not been concluded by the institute yet. However, according to media reports, a total of 989 offers were made during 2023-24 (Phase-one) placements. IIT Kanpur BSc average package for the placed graduates during 2023-24 (phase one) stood at INR 26.27 LPA.

According to media reports, phase 1 of the placement session 2022-23 concluded with 1,200 job offers received from over 250 companies.
