Candidates could apply for the AIL LET exam by visiting ail.ac.in. The last date to complete AIL LET Application Process 2026 was June 10, 2026.   • Click on the Online Registration tab 
  • Enter the personal details, such as name, father’s name, date of birth, email ID, and password.
  • Candidates will get the AIL LET 2026 registration number and password
  • Log in using registration ID and password to fill out the application form 
  • Enter personal information, category, communication and education details.
  • Select the course
  • Upload a scanned passport-size photograph, signature and other documents
  • Check all the details entered in the application form
  • Pay the application fees
  • Submit the form.

You must participate in the AIL LET counselling process to secure admission, as direct, merit-based admission for board toppers is not the standard procedure for Army personnel seats. AIL LET scores are used to create a merit list for counseling.

Yes it is necessary to fill the application form to appear in AIL LET Exam. Only those candidates who will fill the form will be issued AIL LET Hall Ticket. 

Q:   What is the syllabus of AIL LET Exam?

The important subjects to be asked in the AILET exam are, GK & Current Affairs, Legal Aptitutde, English and Mental Ability. 

Q:   What is AIL LET tie breaking criteria?

In case, candidates secure identical marks in the final list, the candidate with higher marks in the qualifying examination will be preferred. In case of parity at this stage also, the candidate older in age shall be given preference.

Q:   What is the duration of AIL LET Exam?

The AIL LET Exam will be conducted for 2 hours. It will have 200 questions. For every correct answer one marks will be given.

The AIL LET Exam is conducted by Army Institute of Law, Mohali. The entrance exam is conducted for admissions to BA LLB and BCom LLB programmes offered by the institute.
