How is MHCET Law 2026 Percentile Calculated?
The MH CET Law Normalization Process is used to calculate the scores of candidates who appeared for the exam on different days and shifts. This process ensures that a fair and balanced evaluation is done, keeping in mind the exam difficulty level experienced by the candidates in multiple shifts. If one shift was tougher than another, the scores of students from that shift are slightly increased to make them equal for everyone. The process ensures that no candidate is at a disadvantage just because their paper was harder or easier. After normalization, the final scores are used to prepare the MH CET Law merit list and cutoff for both 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. This method helps maintain fairness and transparency in the MH CET Law result and admission process. This formula is used to calculate the percentile:
Total Percentile (TP) = 100 X No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score equal to or less than T1 score
Total No. of Candidates appeared for the session
