AIAPGET 2026 exam will be held online for MD/MS programmes in diffrent Ayush courses. Exam date will be released by National Testing Agency (NTA). AIAPGET 2026 date along with other crucial details will be released with official brochure. Tentative AIAPGET 2026 date is first week of July 2026. Students will have to apply online to submit AIAPGET 2026 application form. The application process starts with online registration followed by filling out personal and academic details in application form, choosing exam centre and apying exam fees. NTA may start AIAPGET 2026 registration in May 2026. 

NTA conducts AIAPGET exam in computer-based mode. Students are advised to check elligibility criteria before applying for exam. Those who apply successfully and fulfill all other elligibility criteria are issued admit card. AIAPGET 2026 admit card will be uploaded online and students will have to downlod hall ticket. AIAPGEt 2025 result will be released onlien and successful students will have to download AIAPGET result cum scorecards by providing details such as application number, mobile number, date of birth etc. It must be noted candidates who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off will be eligible for AIAPGET counselling. What is AIAPGET?

All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test, commonly known as AIAPGET, is conducted for admissions to the postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. The National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India conducts AIAPGET exam. It is conducted annually in a computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify for the examination scoring the minimum cut off percentile can opt for MS, MD, or PG diploma courses in the above-mentioned disciplines. Admission for MS, MD, or PG diploma courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy is given on the basis of merit. Q:   Who releases syllabus for AIAPGET?
A: 

AIAPGET syllabus is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The syllabus is released on the official AIAPGET website, and it varies for each discipline. The syllabus covers all the topics that have been covered in the undergraduate course of the particular discipline. For example, for a master's degree in Ayurveda, the syllabus will be based on the course curriculum for BHMS. The syllabus for AIAPGET is very vast as it covers entire course curriculum at undergraduate level of BAMS, BHMS, BSMS and BYMS.

Not yet. NTA will release AIAPGET 2026 date along with official brochure. Exam is expected to be held in July 2026. NTA will begin AIAPGET 2026 registration most likely in May. Students have to register online and submit application form for exam. Students are advised to read brochure carefully before applying for exam.

Q:   Can I register in second round if I missed the first round of AIAPGET counselling?
A: 

Yes. Registration can be done in all three rounds except stray vacancy round. Candidates will have to register and submit application form on the official website for AIAPGET counselling. Candidates are advised to use same e-mail address and mobile number for registration on AACCC PG portal for Counselling which was provided to NTA during registration of AIAPGET.

Q:   Does NTA conducts AIAPGET twice a year?
A: 

No. NTA conducts AIAPGET once a year. The exam is conducted in computer-based mode. Candidates have to register online and submit application form for AIAPGET exam. It must be noted only online application form will be accepted for AIAPGET exam. Offline or any other mode of application will not be accepted.

AIAPGET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The brochure released by NTA contains details of the prescribed AIAPGET eligibility criteria 2025. To be eligible for AIAPGET the following requirements have to be met by a candidate:

  • Candidates must possess BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree
  • Candidate with a provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate (recognized as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act) can also apply for AIAPGET
  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities
  • He/she must have completed one year of internship or is likely to complete the internship on or before August 31, 2025 as decided by National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH)
  • There is no upper age limit for the candidates appearing for AIAPGET 2025
  • NTA has not specified the number of attempts permitted to clear AIAPGET, thus a candidate can take the examination as many times as he/she needs to clear it.

Note: Candidates found to be ineligible at any stage will not be permitted to appear in the examination. In an unlikely event of any ineligible candidate appearing and/or qualifying AIAPGET 2025, the result/candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled.

Q:   I am 32 years old. Can I apply for AIAPGET?
A: 

Yes, there is no upper age limit for the candidates appearing for AIAPGET. Therefore, you can apply for this examination. Candidates are advised to read all the eligibility criteria before applying online for the exam. Like age, there is no capping on number of attempts for AIAPGET. Candidates can appear as many times as they want. One of the important eligibility criteria for AIAPGET exam candidates should have BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree and must have completed one year internship in the given deadline.

Q:   What are the eligibility criteria for the AIAPGET?
A: 

Students will have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for AIAPGET exam:

  •  Internship: Students should have completed one year of internship
  • Educational Qualification: Students should have passed B.A. MS BUMS BSMS BHMS and Graded BHMS degrees or possess provisional pass certificates. Certificate Permanent or provisional registration Certificate of B.A. MS BUMS BSMS BHMS Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM, CCH, state board, universities, or deemed universities.
  • Age and number of attempts: There are no upper age criteria for the AIAPGET exam.

AIAPGET 2026 Application Form Process

AIAPGET 2026 application form will be released online. Registration is expected to begin in May 2026. Students have to apply official website of NTA for exam. AIAPGET exam is conducted for admission to postgraduate courses in four disciplines, i.e Ayurveda, Homepathy, Unani, Siddha. So students must choose the correct discipline while filling AIAPGET application form.

A valid email id and mobile number is required for registration. After completing the registration process, candidates have to fill the AIAPGET application form and pay non-refundable registration fee. Candidates must read the information brochure and the instructions in it so that he/she doesn't make mistakes while providing details in the application form for AIAPGET 2026. After submission, a copy of the filled application form must be preserved until the admission process gets over.

AIAPGET 2026 Syllabus

AIAPGET 2026 syllabus comprises subjects and topics which need to be prepared for the exam. Before starting preparation, candidates should have idea about the syllabus for AIAPGET. Q:   Do I need to prepare both the syllabus of BAMS, BHMS for AIAPGET?
A: 

Yes. Candidates need to prepare whole syllabus for AIAPGET exam comprising topics and subjects studied for BAMS and BHMS at undergraduate level. In addition, candidates also need to prepare chapters which were taught for BSMS and BYMS. Syllabus for AIAPGET exam is released by National Testing Agency with the official information brochure. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus first and prepare study plan accordingly. 

Q:   What documents do I need to carry along with the admit card to AIAPGET center?
A: 

Candidates need to carry one of the photo identity proof along with the admit card at AIAPGET 2026 centre. In addition, a photo needs to be carried at the exam centre. Check the list of documents to be carried on D-Day:

  • Print copy of Admit Card
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form)
  • Any one of the authorized Govt. photo IDs (original, valid and nonexpired), viz. PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card
  • PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category

 

Q:   Does NTA release AIAPGET final answer key as well?
A: 

Yes. The final answer key for AIAPGET is released along with the result. The provisional answer key is released a day after the exam. Candidates may raise objection against the provisional answer key for AIAPGET if he/she finds any descrepancies in it. But the final answer key can't be challenged in any condition.

AIAPGET 2026 Pattern

Candidates should have an idea about the AIAPGET 2026 exam pattern so that they know every aspect of test paper including type of questions asked and weightage. AIAPGET exam pattern comprises important details including mode, medium, total number of questions, time duration, and marking scheme. As per AIAPGET pattern, question paper comprises 120 multiple choice questions of 480 marks. Exam timing will be 2 hours. NTA will conduct exam in computer-based mode. As per marking scheme, candidates will get 4 marks for right and -1 marks for the wrong answers. No mark will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.

AIAPGET 2026 Admit Card

Students will be issued AIAPGET admit card once they apply successfully for exam. In order to download admit card, they will ahve to login to official website of NTA and provide required details such as application number and password. Admit card or hall ticket must be carried to exam centre in physical form. Candidates must note admit card have to be downloaded as NTA doesn't send hall ticket to individual candidates. Admit card contains crucial details such as the address of exam centre and exam-related guidelines. Candidates should cross verify details on admit card and in case of any discrepancy, exam authority must be contacted immediately. 

AIAPGET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines 

What to carry?

  • AIAPGET 2026 admit card
  • An original, valid and non-expired photo Id proof (Driving Licence, Aadhar card, passport, voter Id, etc.)
  • One passport size photograph (same as the one submitted with the application form)

What not to carry?

  • Any textual material, Calculator, Docu Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Smartwatch, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, Bluetooth devices, pager or any other electronic device.
  • Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting, etc. in the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery, Eatables/snacks and Tea/coffee/cold drinks/Water, Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets, etc. are NOT allowed in the Examination Room/Hall.
  • Candidates who are diabetic can carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/ apple/orange) and transparent water bottle to the examination hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwich, etc.

Q:   What is the exam timing for AIAPGET?
A: 

AIAPGET exam is held in single shift as per the existing exam pattern. NTA releases the exam pattern along with the official information brochure. The exam is usually commence at 10 am in the morning and concludes at 12 pm in afternoon. The exact timing will be provided through AIAPGET admit card. Candidates are advised to report the exam centre 2 hours before the commencement of exam to complete the registration formalities. 

Q:   I lost my AIAPGET admit card. Can I download it again?
A: 

Yes. AIAPGET admit card can be downloaded again from official website. Students must note admit card can be downloaded till exam day. But they are advised to download AIAPGET admit card in advance to avoid last minute technical glitches. Admit card can be downloaded after logging to the official website and providing login details. 

Q:   Will the name and address of AIAPGET centre available on the admit card?
A: 

Yes. AIAPGET admit card will contain personal and exam related details including name and address of AIAPGET centre. Details mentioned on the AIAPGET admit card 2025 are listed as follows:

AIAPGET 2026 Result

NTA will announce AIAPET results on its official website. The result cum scorecard will be uploaded online. Qualified candidates can download scorecard from official website with login details. Scoring minimum cut off percentile is mandatory to become eligible for AIAPGET counselling. The scores will be valid for that particular academic year and it won't be considered next year. Based on the marks secured by candidates, a merit has been prepared. The merit list contains details such as total marks, percentile secured and All India Rank. A separate list has been released for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and homeopathy.

A: 

A total of 4 rounds of AIAPGET counselling is held for seat allotment. All three rounds except last stray round is held online. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment. Registration can be done on the official website. It must be noted registration is allowed only in starting three rounds. No registration is allowed in stray vacancy round AIAPGET counselling. Candidate should ensure that all the information filled in during the online registration/application form is correct and factual. AIAPGET 2026 Answer Key

AIAPGET 2026 answer key will be released by NTA. Answer key is released online. It must be noted, two types of answer keys are released for AIAPGET. Provisional AIAPGET answer key is released a couple of days after exam and final answer key along with AIAPGET result. A separe answer key PDF is uploaded for Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, and Siddha courses on official website, ntaaiapget.nic.in. The answer key contains the correct response to all sets of questions asked in the AIAPGET 2026 exam. Candidates can also challenge provisional answer key. In order to challenge the answer key, candidates will have to pay Rs 200 per challenged question. The subject matter experts then recheck all the answers and release final answer key. There is no provision to challenge final answer key for AIAPGET.

Q:   Who release the AIAPGET cutoff?
A: 

AIAGPET cutoff is released by National Testing Agency (NTA) and participating institutes also release their individual cutoff for granting admission through AIAGPET scores. The cut off is released after result announcement. It must be noted candidates will have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for AIAPGET exam.

Q:   What is the cutoff for General category candidates in crack AIAGPET exam?
A: 

Qualifying percentile for AIAPGET exam varies as per category of student. For general category, minimum qualifying percentile is 50th, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40 percentile. Only those who score minimum cut off as per category are declared qualified for exam. 

Q:   What will happen if I do not clear the AIAGPET cutoff?
A: 

If a candidate does not secure marks as per the required qualifying percentile mentioned for a particular category then he/she will not be declared qualified for AIAPGET exam. Which means, he/she will not be able to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.

AIAPGET 2026 Counselling

Once students qualify AIAPGET exam, they will have to participate in AIAPGET counselling for allotment of All India Quota seats. It must be noted, students will have to score minimum cut off marks to participate in counselling process, conducted by AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC). To participate in the AIAPGET counselling, candidates will have to register on the official portal and fill in the choice of colleges and courses in which they seek admission. The counselling will be conducted online and will be based on the rank secured by the candidate in the examination. Based on the choice filled by the candidate, All India Rank, the availability of seats, reservation criteria and other factors, seats will be allocated for AYUSH courses. Selected candidates have to report to the allocated institute with the requisite documents for confirmation of his/her admission. Round-1 counselling has already been completed.

Q:   How does the counselling process work for AIAPGET?
A: 

AIAPGET counselling starts with online registration. Registration can be done on the official website, aaccc.gov.in. Apart from registration, the counselling process involves choice filling of college and course. Steps of the counselling process are given below: 

  • Step 1: Registration for AACCC-PG Counseling
  • Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Deposit Money)
  • Step 3: Choice filling and locking Step
  • 4: Release of Seat allotment list (Result Publication) 
  • Step 5: Reporting to the allotted college.
  • Step 6: Submit willingness for up-gradation of the seat
Q:   Will AIAPGET counselling be held in online or offline mode?
A: 

NTA will conduct AIAPGET counselling in online mode. Candidates have to register online to participate in the counselling. Eligible candidates who qualify the exam can register on the official website for the counselling. After that, they have to pay fee to complete the registration process. After registration, candidates have to declare choices for college and course seeking admission into. Four rounds of counselling will be held for All India Quota seats.

Q:   When will NTA release admit card for AIAPGET 2026?
A: 

NTA will release date for AIAPGET 2026 admit card. AIAPGET 2026 admit card will be released for candidates who applied successfully and fulfill all other eligibility criteria. It must be noted the admit card is not sent to individual candidate and he will have to download it from the official website, aaccc.nta.nic.in. Candidates will have to provide login ID and password  to download the hall ticket for AIAPGET 2026 exam. 

Q:   When will NTA release AIAPGET 2026 question paper and answer key?
A: 

AIAPGET 2026 question paper with recorded response will be released a week after exam. Along with question paper, NTA will also release provisional answer key. Candidates have to download question paper and answer key from the official website, exams.ac.in/aiapget. Provisional answer key can be challenged by paying INR 200 per question.
