Qualifying percentile for AIAPGET exam varies as per category of student. For general category, minimum qualifying percentile is 50th, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40 percentile. Only those who score minimum cut off as per category are declared qualified for exam.

What will happen if I do not clear the AIAGPET cutoff?

If a candidate does not secure marks as per the required qualifying percentile mentioned for a particular category then he/she will not be declared qualified for AIAPGET exam. Which means, he/she will not be able to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.

Does NTA release AIAPGET final answer key as well?

Yes. The final answer key for AIAPGET is released along with the result. The provisional answer key is released a day after the exam. Candidates may raise objection against the provisional answer key for AIAPGET if he/she finds any descrepancies in it. But the final answer key can't be challenged in any condition.

Candidates need to carry one of the photo identity proof along with the admit card at AIAPGET 2026 centre. In addition, a photo needs to be carried at the exam centre. AIAPGET exam 2026: The AIAPGET 2026 result was released on September 18, 2026. National Testing Agency (NTA) also released final answer key for AIAPGET 2026. The provisional answer key along with response sheet and question papers was released earlier. Candidates can download AIAPGET result and final answer key using their login details. AIAPGET counselling 2026 dates will be announced soon.

What is AIAPGET?

All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test, commonly known as AIAPGET, is conducted for admissions to the postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. The National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India conducts AIAPGET exam. It is conducted annually in a computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify for the examination scoring the minimum cut off percentile can opt for MS, MD, or PG diploma courses in the above-mentioned disciplines. Admission for MS, MD, or PG diploma courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy is given on the basis of merit. AIAPGET 2026 Counselling

Once students qualify AIAPGET exam, they will have to participate in AIAPGET counselling for allotment of All India Quota seats. It must be noted, students will have to score minimum cut off marks to participate in counselling process, conducted by AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC). To participate in the AIAPGET counselling, candidates will have to register on the official portal and fill in the choice of colleges and courses in which they seek admission. The counselling will be conducted online and will be based on the rank secured by the candidate in the examination. Based on the choice filled by the candidate, All India Rank, the availability of seats, reservation criteria and other factors, seats will be allocated for AYUSH courses. Selected candidates have to report to the allocated institute with the requisite documents for confirmation of his/her admission. Round-1 counselling has already been completed.

AIAPGET 2026 Result

NTA has announced AIAPET results on its official website. The result cum scorecard has beeen uploaded online. Qualified candidates can download scorecard from official website with login details. Scoring minimum cut off percentile is mandatory to become eligible for AIAPGET counselling. The scores will be valid for that particular academic year and it won't be considered next year. Based on the marks secured by candidates, a merit has been prepared. The merit list contains details such as total marks, percentile secured and All India Rank. A separate list has been released for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and homeopathy.

AIAPGET 2026 Answer Key

AIAPGET 2026 answer key has been released by NTA. It must be noted, two types of answer keys are released for AIAPGET. The AIAPGET answer key contains the correct response to all sets of questions asked in the AIAPGET 2026 exam. Candidates can also challenge provisional answer key. In order to challenge the answer key, candidates will have to pay Rs 200 per challenged question. The subject matter experts then recheck all the answers and release final answer key. There is no provision to challenge final answer key for AIAPGET.

AIAPGET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

What to carry?

AIAPGET 2026 admit card
An original, valid and non-expired photo Id proof (Driving Licence, Aadhar card, passport, voter Id, etc.)
One passport size photograph (same as the one submitted with the application form)

What not to carry?

Any textual material, Calculator, Docu Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Smartwatch, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, Bluetooth devices, pager or any other electronic device.
Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting, etc. in the examination hall is strictly prohibited. Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery, Eatables/snacks and Tea/coffee/cold drinks/Water, Mobile Phone/ Ear Phone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Camera, Tape Recorder, any metallic item or electronic gadgets, etc. are NOT allowed in the Examination Room/Hall.
Candidates who are diabetic can carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/ apple/orange) and a transparent water bottle to the examination hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwich, etc.

AIAPGET 2026 Eligibility & Application Form

The National Testing Agency revised the cutoff date for internship completion to October 31. Earlier, it was August 31. The NTA released the AIAPGET 2026 information bulletin and officially kick-started the application process. The candidates were advised to read the information bulletin before filling the application form. The last date to apply for the exam was July 30, 2026.

AIAPGET 2026 Eligibility Conditions

The candidates can see the AIAPGET 2026 eligibility conditions below:

Candidates must possess BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree
Candidates with a provisional BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS Pass Certificate (recognised as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act) can also apply for AIAPGET
Permanent or provisional registration certificate of BAMS/ BUMS/ BSMS/ BHMS/Graded BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities
He/she must have completed one year of internship or is likely to complete the internship on or before ~~August 31~~ October 31, 2026, as decided by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH)
There is no upper age limit for the candidates appearing for AIAPGET 2026
NTA has not specified the number of attempts permitted to clear AIAPGET; thus, a candidate can take the examination as many times as he/she needs to clear it.

AIAPGET 2026 Application Form

The NTA released a notice on its official website to explain the AIAPGET 2026 application filling process. The candidates can see the AIAPGET application filling process below:

The candidates need to register first to generate the application number. After generating the application number, the candidates will be asked to log in with the application number and password to fill the form.
The candidates will be required to fill the personal and academic details in the form.
After filling the form, the candidates must sign the undertaking about the information
After completing the application, the candidate will be asked to pay the application fee as per their category.

After paying the application fee, the candidates were to submit the form and a generated acknowledgement mail was sent to them.

AIAPGET 2026 Syllabus

AIAPGET 2026 syllabus comprises subjects and topics which need to be prepared for the exam. Before starting preparation, candidates should have idea about the syllabus for AIAPGET. The syllabus covers all the topics which candidates were taught during undergraduate courses. As AIAPGET exam is conducted for admission to 4 courses, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, and Unani, syllabus varies accordingly. For an example, candidates who seek admission to master's course in Ayurveda need to prepare the undergraduate syllabus for Ayurveda.

AIAPGET 2026 Pattern

Candidates should have an idea about the AIAPGET 2026 exam pattern so that they know every aspect of test paper, including type of questions asked and weightage. AIAPGET exam pattern comprises important details, including mode, medium, total number of questions, time duration, and marking scheme. As per AIAPGET pattern, the question paper comprises 120 multiple-choice questions of 480 marks.

Exam timing will be 2 hours. NTA will conduct the exam in computer-based mode. As per the marking scheme, candidates will get 4 marks for right and -1 marks for the wrong answers. No mark will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
