The Department issues the notification for the APTET exam on the official website. The APTET notification is released in PDF download form. The TET notification contains crucial details like important dates, syllabus, exam pattern, and others. AP TET Application Form 2026

 Candidates can apply online for the exam and fill out the APTET application form 2026 using the process below.

  • Visit aptetv2.apcfss.in.
  • Click on the ‘Payment’ link and make the fee payment.
  • You will get the ‘Candidate ID’ upon successful payment of fees.
  • Click on the ‘Candidate Login’ link against the ‘Application’ tab.
  • Login using the Candidate's ID,  date of birth and verification code.
  • Fill out the APTET application form.
  • Upload the scanned image of the photograph.
  • Submit the application form.
  • Take a printout of the application form.

Candidates need to fill out their APTET application form online on the official website of the exam.

Release of APTET Admit Card

Candidates need to download their AP TET Hall Ticket from the official website of the exam. To download the APTET admit card, candidates need to enter login details.

Appearing in APTET Exam

Aspirants need to appear for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test as per the date, time and exam centre mentioned on their hall ticket. The duration of the APTET exam is 150 minutes for each paper. APTET comprises two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Declaration of APTET Result

The APTET result is declared on the official website. Candidates need to clear this exam to be appointed as teachers for classes 1 to 8 in schools of the state.

AP TET Exam Pattern 2026

The APTET exam pattern differs for Paper 1 (Part A & B) and Paper 2 (Part A & B). Have a look at the highlights of the exam pattern below:

  • APTET exam contains 150 objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in each paper- Paper 1 and Paper 2.
  • Each paper carries 150 marks.
  • The time duration given to complete a paper is 150 minutes (two hours and thirty minutes).
