What is AP TET?
Commissioner of School Education and Government of Andhra Pradesh conducts the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers of Classes 1 to 8 in all schools of Andhra Pradesh (Government/ZP/MP/Municipal/Recognised Private Aided & Private Unaided etc). The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh conducts the AP TET exam in several exam centres in various districts in Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Odisha. AP TET 2025 will be held online as a Computer Based Test (CBT). "The objective is to ensure National Standards and benchmark of Teacher quality in the recruitment process by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)", informs the official APTET notification.
The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) exam is a way to determine an applicant's eligibility to teach in Andhra Pradesh's primary and upper elementary schools. Those who pass the APTET Level 1 exam are qualified to teach in elementary schools (1–5), whereas those who pass the APTET Level 2 exam are qualified to teach in upper primary schools (6–8). Candidates who pass both AP TET papers will be able to teach in grades one through eight. APTET Admit Card Release
Candidates need to download their AP TET Hall Ticket using their registration number or roll number and date of birth or password.
APTET Exam
Aspirants need to appear for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test as per the date, time and exam centre mentioned on their hall ticket. The duration of the APTET exam is 150 minutes for each paper.
Declaration of APTET Result
The APTET result is declared online. Candidates need to clear this exam in order to take part in the Mega AP DSC recruitment drive.
