NDA 1 2025 exam was conducted on April 13, 2025. According to Shiksha Poll on ‘How will you rate the difficulty level of NDA 1 2025?’ revealed that the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. 51 per cent of candidates voted that the exam was moderate, whereas 24 per cent of candidates said that the paper was difficult. On the other hand, 13 per cent of candidates found the NDA exam paper to be easy, and 12 per cent of candidates found that it was easy to moderate.
The poll also revealed that 64 per cent of candidates found the Maths paper to be the toughest section in the NDA 1 2025 exam. 19 per cent of candidates voted that the GAT section was toughest and 12 per cent of candidates found both Maths and GAT to be toughest. According to the NDA 1 Paper Analysis 2025 Shiksha Poll, 51 per cent of candidates voted that the difficulty level of the NDA 1 2025 exam was moderate. 24 per cent of candidates voted that the exam was difficult, 13 per cent voted that the paper was easy, and 12 per cent voted that the paper was easy to moderate. NDA exam is conducted across multiple test centres in more than 70 cities. The exam is conducted in two shifts-morning and afternoon. Candidates are required to appear in both shifts. The details regarding the NDA exam centre are mentioned on the admit card. There is a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centres except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. Allotment of NDA centres is done on the first-apply-firstallot basis and once the capacity of a particular centre is attained, the same is frozen. Applicants who cannot get a centre of their choice due to ceiling, are required to choose a NDA exam centre from the remaining ones. Applicants should apply early so that they get their preferred exam centre.
NDA exam centres are released along with the notification. The details related to the test cities are to be filled while filling the application form. The examination authority allots test cities as per their preferences.
The medicals after NDA SSB are called SMB (Special medical Board). This done at the Military Hospitals. Each recommended candidate are required to go through it. The TR/PR candidates get another chance to prove themselves medically fit within 42 days from the medical conference, this is called AMB (Appeal medical Board). This takes place at Command Hospitals. The candidates who are rejected from AMB may or may not get the chance for Review Medical Board (RMB). RMB is not the right of the candidate but is given by reviewing your ailment by senior doctors of Army at the office of DGMS behind North Block, near Rashtrapati Bhavan.
