Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) successfully conducted both the papers of NDA 1 2025 on April 13, 2025. The exam was conducted offline across various cities spread throughout the country in two shifts. The overall difficulty level of the NDA Maths exam was moderate. The overall difficulty level of NDA GAT paper was easy.

NDA 1 Maths Exam Analysis 2025

The Maths paper of NDA was conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm. According to NDA exam pattern, the Maths paper carried a total of 120 questions. The total marks allotted to this paper are 300. The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. Questions in the Maths paper were asked from Algebra, Calculus, Matrices and Determinants, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Analytical Geometry Of Two and Three Dimension, and Statistics and Probability. The level of questions asked in the Maths paper is of Class 10, 11 and 12 standards. For correct answer candidates score 2.5 marks. For wrong answer, 0.83 marks are deducted. NDA cut off for final selection is calculated out of 1800. NDA cut off is calculated based on difficulty level of the exam, number of test takers, number of vacancies.

Abhishek said, "The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. There were no changes in the exam pattern of Maths. All the questions were based on the syllabus."

Ranjan Kumar said, "The Maths paper was good in terms of difficulty level. There were no questions out of the syllabus. The question paper pattern was the same as previous years'."

NDA 1 GAT Exam Analysis 2025

The GAT paper carries the maximum weightage in NDA exam. The GAT paper of NDA 1 2025 carried 150 questions and the total marks allotted to this section are 600 marks. The GAT paper was divided into two parts-English and General Knowledge. For the correct answer, candidates score four marks. 1.33 marks are deducted as a penalty for wrong answers. Questions in English part of GAT paper were asked from Grammar and Usage, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Cohesion. Questions in General Knowledge were asked from Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, General Science, Geography, and Current Events. NDA 1 GAT exam analysis 2025 is given below.

The total marks for the NDA exam is 1800 that is 900 for written exam and 900 for SSB interview. A score between 400 to 500 is considered secure in the written exam to get into the final merit list. Also, candidates need to pass in each subject minimum of 25% marks. There is no sectional-cut off.
