RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022 & Student Reaction: The third shift of RRB Group D 2022 exam is over now. The overall difficulty of the paper was easy to moderate. RRB Group D exam analysis provides details about the RRB Group D question paper level such as types of questions asked, difficulty level, and changes in exam pattern or syllabus. The Group D exam is composed of four sections, that is, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness. The test carried a total of 100 questions of 100 marks.

The overall difficulty level of RRB Group D Shift 3 was easy to moderate. In General Science, questions were asked from the basic concepts and were moderate. The Mathematics section carried questions from Trigonometry, Percentage, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Mensuration, Profit & Loss, etc. Questions in General Awareness were asked from Current Affairs, Important Days, Awards, Articles, Sports, Rivers, Indian personalities etc. Most of the questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning were asked from Mathematical Operations, Blood Relation, Analogy, Venn Diagram and Sentence arrangement etc.

RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022: Mathematics

The level of the Mathematics (Quantitative Aptitude) section was Moderate. The maximum questions were asked from Trigonometry, Percentage, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Mensuration, Profit & Loss, etc.

Q:   How RRB Group D exam pattern helps in preparation?
A:

Candidates must begin their RRB Group D preparation by going through the exam pattern as it is regarding the overall structure of the test. After going through the exam pattern, candidates should go through the topics given in the syllabus. Candidates should also go through the previous years' question papers to know the types of questions asked in the exam as well as the important topics. The exam pattern of RRB Group D comprises-CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Exam. The total marks allotted to CBT are 100. The PET is qualifying in nature, however, it is mandatory to clear this stage. The medical exam is conducted to assess whether the candidates is physically fit to perform the job assigned to him. The final empanellment is done based on the performance in CBT provided candidates qualify PET, Document Verification and Medical Exam.

Q:   What is RRB Group D exam pattern?
A:

The CBT of RRB Group D exam comprises four sections-General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Total marks allotted to CBT are 100. Based on the marks obtained in CBT, candidates are called for PET. The PET is qualifying in nature. Those who qualify the PET are called for document verification. Final empanellment of candidates is done based on the performance in CBT subject to their qualifying the document verification and medical exam. Q:   What is RRB Group D exam pattern for PET?
A:
Candidates 10 times the number of vacancies are called for PET. It is mandatory for candidates to pass the PET and it is qualifying in nature. The PET exam pattern for male and female candidates is given below. Male Candidates should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in two minutes without putting down the weight Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in four minutes and 15 seconds in one chance Female Candidates Female candidates should be able to lift and carry 20 kgs of weight for a distance of 100 meters in two minutes without putting down the weight Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in five minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022: General Awareness

This section had 30 questions and the overall level of difficulty was easy to moderate. Some questions were asked from Indianpersonalities (like: Prime Ministers, Presidents, Chief Ministers & Governors etc.), Awards, Longest & Largest in India & World Most of the questions were asked from Static GK, Current Affairs, History, Physical Geography, Basic Computer & Biology.

RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022 (Shift 1)

Shiksha reported live from one of the RRB Group D exam centres in Noida, where around 500 candidates are appearing in each shift. According to the feedback provided by students, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The General Science and General Awareness and Current Affairs sections were moderate to difficult. The Chemistry portion of General Science was difficult as per students. In Biology, one question was asked from the Photosynthesis reaction. Questions in Maths were asked from Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Bar Graph, Average, Trigonmetry, Height and Distance. Questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning were asked from Coding Decoding, Number Series, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relation. In Physics, Statement-Based and Velocity questions were asked. In GA, one question was asked from periyar river.

Q:   What is RRB Group D negative marking?
A:

There is a negative marking in the RRB Group D exam. 1/3 of marks are deducted for wrong answers. Candidates for correct answers are awarded one mark. The total marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. RRB Group D marking scheme is given below.

A:

RRB Group D exam pattern for CBT comprises objective-type multiple choice questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Candidates need to solve the paper within 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by the scribe). Total marks allotted to the paper are 100. The structure of RRB Group D exam pattern is given below.

A:
RRB Group D exam is conducted online and comprises four sections-General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. RRB Group D exam time is 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by the scribe). Total 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions are asked in the exam. Total marks allotted to the test are 100.

Kunal Singh: "In Maths, questions were asked from Profit & Loss, Percentage, Average, Trigonometry. In General Science, most of the questions were asked from Chemistry. The Reasoning section was easy and questions were asked from Blood Relation, Series, Seating Arrangement, etc. In GA, two questions were based on river."

Ansh Kumar: "In Maths questions were asked from Percentage, Ratio Proportion, Average, Profit & Loss. In General Science questions were asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology. In General Awareness, current affair questions were asked from the events that took place in May."

Ankit Kumar: "In Maths questions were asked from time and distance. In Physics, there were questions from Velocity. The Chemistry portion in General Science was tough. In Reasoning, questions were asked from seating arrangement, blood relation, coding decoding, etc."

Ankit Pandey: "Questions in Maths were asked from LCM, HCF, Average, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, etc. In General Science, maximum questions were asked from Chemistry."

Satish Choudhury: "In Maths, questions were asked from Pipe and Cistern, Geometry, Interest, Profit and Loss (Two Questions), Average (Two Questions), Ratio & Proportion (Three questions), etc. In Reasoning, questions were asked from coding decoding, seating arrangement, etc."
