The level of the Mathematics (Quantitative Aptitude) section was Moderate. The maximum questions were asked from Trigonometry, Percentage, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Mensuration, Profit & Loss, etc.
The CBT of RRB Group D exam comprises four sections-General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Total marks allotted to CBT are 100. Based on the marks obtained in CBT, candidates are called for PET. The PET is qualifying in nature. Those who qualify the PET are called for document verification. Final empanellment of candidates is done based on the performance in CBT subject to their qualifying the document verification and medical exam. This section had 30 questions and the overall level of difficulty was easy to moderate. Some questions were asked from Indianpersonalities (like: Prime Ministers, Presidents, Chief Ministers & Governors etc.), Awards, Longest & Largest in India & World Most of the questions were asked from Static GK, Current Affairs, History, Physical Geography, Basic Computer & Biology.
RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022 (Shift 1)
Shiksha reported live from one of the RRB Group D exam centres in Noida, where around 500 candidates are appearing in each shift. According to the feedback provided by students, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The General Science and General Awareness and Current Affairs sections were moderate to difficult. The Chemistry portion of General Science was difficult as per students. In Biology, one question was asked from the Photosynthesis reaction. Questions in Maths were asked from Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Bar Graph, Average, Trigonmetry, Height and Distance. Questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning were asked from Coding Decoding, Number Series, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relation. In Physics, Statement-Based and Velocity questions were asked. In GA, one question was asked from periyar river.
There is a negative marking in the RRB Group D exam. 1/3 of marks are deducted for wrong answers. Candidates for correct answers are awarded one mark. The total marks of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. RRB Group D marking scheme is given below.
