BHU BTech course of UG level is four-year long. The mode of study is full-time. Candidates wanting to apply for BHU BTech course admission need to take the CUET exam. Banaras Hindu University BTech is offered in different specialisations. It is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BHU BTech admission is done as per CUET exam scores. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can go to the CUET website to apply.

Since last year, the university has been selecting candidates to the UG course based on merit in CUET-UG. Thus, the students should stay updated with the CUET-UG dates for BHU. BHU 2026 BSc Nursing admission is based on CUET UG scores. The BHU merit list for CUET UG will be released on the official website of BHU. According to the BHU, there will be three rounds of counselling along with an optional fourth round, if the seats remain vacant. Talking about the BHU maximum cutoff score of the previous year, B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology became the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 628.46 for the students belonging to the General quota.

BHU BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
The university offer admission based on entrance scores. Check the eligibility criteria before the application form filling. The steps involved in BHU admission are registration, appearing for the exam, the release of the cutoff list, and counselling. Check below the BHU BTech course admission process:
1: BHU BTech Application Process
The applications are accepted in online mode by the university. Students should fill all the details carefully. The application fee of INR 650 (General/ OBC Category)/ INR 550 (SC/ST Category) also has to be paid. The application process consists of the following steps:
- Go to the website of CUET-UG and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
- Fill the application form.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature.
- Select courses and Universities as per your preference and pay the application fee.
2: Selection Process
Candidates are shortlisted by the university based on CUET scores. Shortlisted students have to go through a counselling round for seat allotment.
3: Admission Confirmation
The students who get selected need to submit important documents and pay the course fee. Fee payment is necessary for seat confirmation. BHU BTech tuition fee ranges from INR 37,300 to INR 10 lakh. This fee is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and, hence, is indicative.

Yes, the BHU CUET counselling process for both UG and PG courses is carried out in online mode. Candidates have to visit the BHU admission portal to register for the counselling process. BHU accepts CUET scores for admission to UG and PG courses. The admissions are over within few weeks of CUET counselling. CUET-PG is usually jeld in March whereas, CUET-UG takes place in May. Also, NEET PG was concluded after the release of the Round 5 Seat Allotment.
