BITS HD 2026: BITS HD 2026 admission will start soon. The BITS HD 2026 exam will be held on two dates. Every year, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, conducts the entrance test to offer admission to M.E and M.Pharm programmes across various campuses, such as Pilani, Dubai, Goa, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Admissions to BITS HD comprises registration, followed by downloading the admit card, appearing for the exam, results, and participating in the counselling.
The BITS HD 2026 exam is a computer-based and the admission test consists of two parts - Test 1 and Test 2. Test 1 is compulsory for all students and must be completed within 45 minutes. On the other hand, Test II covers core subject topics consisting of 70 questions, and the time duration is 105 minutes. The institute will release the BITS HD 2026 exam dates on the official website.
Students who have qualified for GATE can also apply for the BITS HD 2026. Such candidates are exempted from appearing for the entrance test. What is BITS HD?
BITS (Birla Institute of Technical Science) Pilani conducts an online entrance exam called the Birla Institute of Science and Technology Higher Degree Test (BITS HD). This BITS HD entrance test is for candidates seeking admission to its higher degree programs in all BITS Pilani campuses (Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa). M.E./M. All three campuses offer Pharma - Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa.
Candidates must know that other than through the BITS HD test, admissions to BITS Higher Degree programs will also be provided through the GATE/GPAT scores. Through BITS HD exam, candidates can seek admission to 3 Higher education degrees, i.e., Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in various streams. BITS has four campuses in Pilani, Dubai, Goa, and Hyderabad. However, the BITS HD test is only conducted on three of its campuses, Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.
BITS HD test is a National entrance test, and candidates nationwide can apply for the BITS HD online examination. The exam is conducted once in a year.

Registration: Feb ' 26
The BITS HD 2026 application will be released on the official website. The institute allows options to apply for the BITS HD 2026 admissions either through BITS MTech exam or through GATE exam. Registrations can be done online at bitsadmission.com. The application form of BITS HD inlcudes registration, filling out forms, uploading of documents, and payment of the form.
BITS HD Application Fee 2026
Candidates need to pay a fee of INR 3500 for the BITS HD 2026 application form, and candidates seeking admission through the GATE /GPAT scorecard must pay Rs 1000/-. Once the application form is paid, fees will not be refunded.

BITS HD Exam Pattern 2026
The institute releases the BITS HD 2026 exam pattern on the official website as well as in the information brochure. Candidates appearing for the exam must go through the exam pattern. The test 1 is compulsory for all candidates. Candidates who want to take admission to higher degree programmes except for ME in sanitation science, technology and management, and ME in software systems must appear for the BITS HD Test 2.

The exam authority offers BITS HD 2026 slot booking online at the official website after completing the BITS HD test. Applicants appearing for the exam must complete the slot booking process to download the BITS HD admit card 2026.
