Very good college for one who has to get admission in graphic gaming.
Placements: For my class or batch, we don't have placements due to we are already in 2nd year only. We are not in 3rd year and placements start from 3rd year. But if I consider telling about my seniors they got internships from the college and a better salary package with 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my courses are mostly popular Gaming Studios from Bangalore.
Infrastructure: In my course, there are multiple labs for us. Including game development, after that game analysis. There are game testing labs and multiple labs for testing purposes and game development procedures. The whole campus is included with Wi-Fi and EC-integrated classrooms with digital boards to explain that visual.
Faculty: Faculty members for my course are too good. I am really able to tell they are best on campus because they teach what we need to study for actual industry which is project-oriented learning. Case designed for our graphic and gaming curriculum is very good. Chandigarh University. If we talk about examinations, there are two MST semester tests. One EST switch includes practical examination as well.

Truth about Chandigarh university faculty members and its placements.
Placements: I am in the 3rd year of BE CSE (Gaming and Graphics). In CSE, a lot of students get placed, but that's only a small portion of the total students in CSE. There are over 12,000 students in CSE, including both specializations and general. To be eligible for college placements, students must take the TPP and pay Rs.10,000 for it. Around 5,000+ students have taken TPP, out of which approximately 1,000 students are somewhat serious about their studies. When placements take place, after filtering students from these 5,000 TPP students, only around 1,000–1,500 students actually sit for placements. Out of these, around 90% (as claimed by the university) get placed, but most receive low-paying jobs. There are good placement opportunities. But students have to study really hard to secure them, based on this data, out of 12,000 students, only 1,000 are getting placed, which is less than 10% of the total CSE students. The highest package offered this year is over 50 LPA, the average is around 4–5 LPA, and the lowest is Rs.15,000 per month, which is around 2–3 LPA. For Gaming and Graphics, there are no companies recruiting. Students need to develop skills and seek for placements off-campus, as the university does not provide sufficient training or support in this specialization.
Infrastructure: There are no labs for our course. You have to bring your own laptops. The university doesn't provide PCs in the labs. Hostels are also not well-equipped. It's the worst infrastructure of the course. I always think that I am wasting my parents' money on these teachers.
Faculty: Teachers are not qualified at all. Very young and inexperienced teachers are teaching the courses which they didn't even know. Some of the teachers don't even teach in class. Course curriculum is not relevant at all. They don't even teach the subjects of the course. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy. You can pass easily. They do not teach us the subjects of our specialization. Some teachers are good. But most of them are just useless.
Other: I chose this course because of the curiosity in the specialization, but it was a mistake. My course is good, but the university is unable to teach the course. I wish more course-oriented classes and better faculty members would be better for our course. Events, fests, campus crowd, etc., are the only good things about the college.

The infrastructure is very nice. The faculty is also very supportive.
Placements: The placement rate is very good and it offers a very high package to the students who really have some good coding skills. Many big companies come to our college, like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc., and many more. Students have a large opportunity.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is very good, as it prepares the students very well. The hostel infrastructure is also amazing; it has park tuc shops, fast food stalls and all the essential shops. The rooms are also very nice The hostels are very clean.
Faculty: Chandis is a great place for higher education The faculty is and supportive and the curriculum is well designed to provide a blend of theory and practical learning. Overall, it is a very good college and the education is very good, especially in B.Tech. The materials that are provided for study are also very good.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty.
Placements: CU has affiliation with many MNCs and big tech companies. A huge number of placements take place from the college because the number of students are also very high. Many mass recruiters take students on temporary basis. Average package is quite low and branches except CSE and ECE have very less exposure to placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good but the facilities and maintenance are not good. Wi-Fi is quite slow in the hostel and labs don't have good end PCs. Classrooms do not have AC facility so it feels very hot and humid in classes. Only NC6 international hostel is well maintained and food is quite good but other hostels are not as good in terms of facilities and management.
Faculty: We are getting only few good faculty in whole semester. Faculty do not care if students understand or not. They are just taking the syllabus forward. Semester exams were online for 2020, 2021 and 2022 so it was quite easy. My course is Graphics and Gaming and it doesn't have good exposure as CSE (AIML) and gaming companies don't come here as well.
Other: I chose this course as I thought it is all about gaming and graphics designing. The improvement that can be done is by providing more gaming subjects. CU hosts many events and organizes many events. You can find events happening almost every week. Many famous celebrities keep on visiting here. CU provides decent scholarship but they take advantage of student and keep effort in canceling their scholarship International students have good scholarship just like I have. You get plenty of opportunities for various ECA but for sports there are no particular ground for football, cricket, rugby and baseball. Everything depends upon you to study and do other stuffs.

Our college has good faculty and provides every chance for students to excel.
Placements: Placements are going to happen this year because the graphics and gaming course was introduced in 2019. More than 150 companies visited our university, including Google, IBM, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: They provide a Wi-Fi facility on campus. Labs are well-equipped with the proper technology and air conditioning, but classrooms only have fans. Sitting in classrooms gets quite hot in the summer.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable to assist students with their studies. The course curriculum is not properly arranged for our graphics and gaming batch. We are in our third year and very few subjects have been introduced related to gaming and graphics.
Other: I chose BE. CSE graphics and gaming course because I was into electronic gaming from my childhood and wanted to build a game. I am very passionate about how to create one.
