    On Admissions
Q:   What is DU CUET UG Counselling process?
    A:

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories.

    • The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
    • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
    • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
    • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
    • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round.

The dream college for all commerce students. It is a great college to be placed in.
Placements: 90 per cent got placed. The lowest was 4 LPA, the highest was 36 LPA. Top recruiting companies where Mackenzie, BCG, and PWC delight. The percentage of students who got the internship was about 80% and they were mainly from economics and B.Com honours. The companies that hire them were McKenzie, BCG, and some of the auditing and consulting firms. The top roles that were offered in our course were consulting finance, investment banking, sales and marketing roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities given were a hostel, top-class Wi-Fi, labs, a classroom, a library, and everything was there, and everything was nice. The quality of facilities in our hostel was quite nice. The quality of food was also nice in the canteen, and there were quite good medical facilities as well.
Faculty: The faculty was quite helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers had done their PhD. The course and the curriculum were quite relevant to make the student industry-ready, as they help us to get a placement. The semester exams were not too difficult, but it was moderate. The pass percentage was about 85%.
Other: I chose this course because it was a great course to pursue a career in, and it was very successful. I got the placement. Some other things that can be better are the coordination of the placement cell. The event, the fest, the crowd connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, everything was great. There was an opportunity to do everything, and the festival was very nice.

Absolutely well satisfied with the college faculty, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Recognised for exceptional placement opportunities. Placement cell works throughout the year to get CVs vetted on time with regular updates and communication. Placements at Deloitte and McKinsey can be scored with an appropriate GPA and skills. The highest package offered was 36 LPA.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi connection at the library, I would appreciate it if the connection were stronger at other places as well. Well-equipped AC classrooms, sports complex made fit for all kinds of sports. Well-maintained hostels. Medical facilities are made available at all times.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and really very helpful. They create a conducive environment for learning. Tute sessions help us clear our doubts. Curriculum involves both practical and bookish knowledge. Sem exams are tough, but can be passed with good preparation.
Other: Eco Hons is a degree with highly paying jobs. Events are well-conducted and fun to attend. Love the campus and the surroundings.

Learning Experience: As a DU Sol student, Content and syllabus is almost same like regular but we need to do by own. I have got books from university first time for this 6th Semester. Experience is below average because no exposure at all, but if someone is engaged in other career field it is good as we get enough time to go with. Developing skills is equal to 0. Pros are like If someone wants to go with other competitive exams can surely get enough time without any pressure, and cons like No personal development or exposure.
Faculty: We get online classes on Saturday and Offline classes on Sunday in any DU college. Internal exams held online but theory exams of semesters held in particular college. Rarely students take lecture and personally I do the same.

Insights on SRCC for Economics Honors.
Placements: Almost all the students who sit for placements get placed in SRCC. The highest package this year is 36 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 15 LPA. More than half of the applicants secure an on-campus internship, although the stipend is not much. Top roles offered to Economics Honours students are in Consulting and Finance.
Infrastructure: The whole college is air-conditioned. The classrooms, washrooms, and even the library. The benches and the class size are decent, but the campus size is very small compared to other colleges of Delhi University. The quality of the food in the canteen is above average, and so are the prices compared to other colleges' canteens.
Faculty: Some of the professors here are really passionate about the subject they teach. Whenever you are in their class. You will notice that whenever they are teaching something, they relate the topic to some real-life event so that it becomes easier to understand and implement.
Other: I chose this course because I have interest in mathematics but not so much that I go for Mathematics Honours. Economics Honours lets me pursue my interest in a way where I get better placement opportunities and some real-life insights as well.

I am happy with my college life and the people I have met.
Placements: I have seen packages ranging from 5–6 LPA as the highest. 2–3 LPA is the lowest in my college. Many good and recognized companies have visited our campus, including Stubborn Factory and others. Some roles were offered in departments related to geopolitics and political issues. Around 9–10 students from my course were placed.
Infrastructure: My course and faculty are very good and have good facilities. Although the college does not have a hostel. Overall, it is awesome. The Wi-Fi is strong, and labs are air-conditioned. The campus has two libraries and a separate reading room. There are also facilities for games like football, hockey, etc. The college has a large canteen where students enjoy.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They provide us with good guidance. They are well-qualified, experienced, and very knowledgeable. The faculty in my department teaches in a very good manner. The semester-based exams are neither hard nor easy. The pass percentage is not very high. The average CGPA required to pass is around 4–5.
Other: Shyam Lal College hosts many events and fests. It has many active societies. Such as Enactus, Abhivyakti, NSS, and NCC. The best thing about my course is that, it is both valuable and interesting.

Asia's best commerce college review, amazing faculty with poor infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students in the course I am pursuing are good at research and analysis. So most offered roles are those of data analyst and research analyst at my college. The package for these types of roles varies between 5 LPA to 16 LPA CTC, which is really good for a Bachelor's degree.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is a real headache in this *** college, and the benches in our class are so comfortable, it's hard to sit for 2 hrs. Straight, it really makes me doubt if I'm studying in Asia's best commerce college. Although the library facilities are good, I am giving it a 2.
Faculty: Faculty members of SRCC are top-notch, they are always available whenever students need them. They go beyond the textbooks to teach us the real-life economic interpretation of concepts. During the exam time, they provide us with relevant information. I can proudly say they are the best faculty.
Other: The fests, the connections, the socks and the faculty members are really the best. I just wish we could remove the subjects of AEC/VAC as they are not relevant to our course and are a burden to us.

However, there are some specific percentage criteria needed to appear for the CUET exam for class 12th candidates which is given below:

For BTch programmes, the minimum aggregate for the General category candidates is 45%, and that of the reserved category candidates is 40%.
