Best college for studies and fest are just amazing.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 2 crores, and the lowest package offered was 13 lakhs. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft were interested in us. Around 70-99% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. The college is located in a prime location and is well connected by metro. The food is of decent quality, the hostels are clean and well managed, and there are many sports facilities. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and the college provides a healthy environment for learning. The college is peaceful, and the exam pattern is moderate. If we study hard, we will definitely be ready for the industry.
Other: I really enjoyed the fest at this college. Last time, the singer Arijit Singh was there, and he was amazing!

The faculty is great, but admin dept. is pathetic. Don't enroll until you are into science and math.
Placements: This is a completely research-based course, so you won't be getting any placements directly after the B. Tech until you go for higher education. On-campus placements are as such, none, and if you're planning on going off-campus, you won't be making more than INR 20,000
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not there; the labs are good and have equipment for every student. The classrooms are okay.
Hostels for boys are fun, while for girls there are lots of restrictions.
Medical facilities are good, and a doctor is there most of the time.
Sports and games—BB, lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, and kabaddi—are there.
Faculty: The faculty is experienced, helpful, and many are good at teaching as well, so 4 stars for them.
Hands-on experience in the experiments is there, which helps bridge the gap between theory and real life. The course curriculum is relevant as you get exposure to a wide variety of subjects and, to some extent, are industry-ready as well.
Semester-end exams are moderate to difficult.
Other: I came here because I was not able to clear NEET, so a kind substitute it was, but most of the subjects are similar in biochemistry, engineering, MBBS biomed, etc. From 2nd year onwards, there are 9–5 classes, and you barely get time for extracurriculars. The administration department needs to be improved, as they are not very helpful and way too slow in their decision-making. The campus crowd is okay, scholarships for EWS are there, and extracurricular activities
Anugoonj, the college festival, can be good or bad, depending on the crowd that is coming for the show.

The professors are highly qualified.
Placements: Biotechnology is mainly a research based area. The general trend among biotechnology students is to go towards higher studies immediately after graduation. Otherwise there were some of the seniors who got into reputed companies. Internships through government or private institutions is common. Various students apply for government aided internships and many seniors have worked as interns in prestigious government colleges.
Infrastructure: The department has Wi-Fi connectivity which every student gets after applying individually. The labs of the biotechnology department are one of the best in the country. The classrooms have been professionally designed to seat students and allow a nice environment. College library is a major hub for every student. They can get books for 2 weeks at a stretch as well as the books for an entire semester.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified. Having done their PhDs and post Docs from prestigious universities themselves, they hone their students to get ready for the real world. Professors take their work seriously and have committed themselves to bring out the best in their students
The curriculum course is made in such a way to teach the students how to be industry-ready by the end of four years of graduation.
Other: Biotechnology is the one field that has caught up its pace over the years and is going to be a major professional area to work in, in a few years. I wish if we could be taught the computer courses properly all throughout the year, it would help students a lot. GGSIPU Dwarka hosts the annual Anugoonj fest that is the talk of the town. The college has a field for almost every sport and provides ample opportunity to try basically anything.

It's an excellent college with a beautiful campus, good infrastructure, facilities and teachers.
Placements: From our department, students don't get good placements directly, but first, they pursue masters in biotechnology from our college or any other college. Then they can get good placements. Placements in our department are active since 2018, and our college helps students to get good off-campus placements. If students are not interested in biotech industries, then they can even attend placements in the IT department where the average salary package offered in on-campus placements is around 6 LPA. Students from our course get summer internships also during their 2nd and 3rd year in renowned academic institutes such as IISER, IITs, IISC and others in which they get a stipend of about Rs. 10,000 per month. This internship is of 2 months duration.
Infrastructure: Our university has its own hostel inside the campus with good rooms for every student and clean washrooms. Every room has its own balcony, and the mess services are also nice. The hostel facility is affordable and available at Rs. 60,000 per annum, including mess and accommodation charges. The hostel and also every building on the campus have a Wi-Fi facility with good internet speed. The campus is beautiful and contains gardens and statues everywhere. The overall infrastructure is excellent. The university has a huge library with books related to every course and a computer room for online streaming and access to research papers. There is a dispensary with a doctor who is available from 10 am to 5 pm. A nurse is also available for 24 hours. Our college has every sport such as basketball, football, cricket, athletics, kabaddi and many more. There are separate playgrounds and courts for every game, and there are assigned coaches who train the students regularly. The university also organises its own annual sports meet inside the campus only, and students even from affiliated colleges also participate in it to win trophies and medals at the intercollegiate level. Our university also sends good performers and selected students to play at AIU level (All India University) for many games. In our department, there are really nice laboratories with every equipment required by the students to get trained and get practical knowledge.
Faculty: In our department, the teachers are excellent and have high teaching experience and good research backgrounds. Every teacher is really helpful and provides good knowledge to us besides the academic course. Now, there are 30 PhD scholars who are working under 12 faculty members in their own separate labs. The course curriculum taught here is relevant to the biotech industry both at the production level and at the research and development level.
Other: If students are interested in working in biotech industries or want to pursue research in the life science sector, then this course is the best in New Delhi. I have chosen this course because I am very much interested in the life sciences sector to study microbiology and molecular biology. Moreover, I want to pursue those subjects in future as well. Besides the excellent infrastructure, the campus has student societies for activities such as singing, music, dance, dramatics, science club, etc. So, apart from studies, students can also participate in such activities. Our university organises its annual fest named Anigoonj, which is a 3 days event, and students from many colleges participate in cultural events such as singing, dance, painting competitions, etc. In the night, celebrities usually singers perform.

I have no idea of eligibility of BTech biotechnology at IPU but being alumni of LPU, I can assure you that you can get admission in BTech biotechnology with minimum of 60% marks in PCB and English and by qualifying LPUNEST exam.

Rank 342 is really impressive. Students with ranks under 500 get into the top 4 colleges of IPU. The best colleges considered are MAIT, MSI, VIPS and JIMS.
