IITB fee for its BTech programme includes tuition with some one-time payments, and Hostel fee (if applicable), which have to be paid yearly or semester-wise. The admission process for BTech begins with the release of the JEE Main application form. The entrance test is generally conducted between Jan and Apr in 2 sessions. Yes, IIT Bombay offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to UG students. It is awarded to a maximum of 25% of sanctioned intake. For Dual degree, it is available only up to fourth year.
Merit Criterion: For new entrants of BDes their UCEED Rank, will be the criterion. In subsequent years, the criterion will be their academic performance during the preceding academic year.

Yes, the parents can contact the IIT Bombay admission office and they might get to stay at the guest house. The institute has guest romms in every hostel. To book a room, parents can visit the gymkhana website. If the guest room has been booked in the same hostel as that of the candidate, then keys can be collected directly from the hall manager on payment of respective charges.

BTech and BTech (Dual Degree) aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in).
