I love SRM University because of their infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are very good at SRM University. The students have to concentrate on your studies so that your job will be with you at the end of your graduation. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, CTS, Unisys, Intel, Wabco, Daimler, Bosch, Ericsson, Philips, Sutherland etc. visited our college for placements.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi access is restricted to 1 GB per day to a student. Hostel facilities and the food are very good. The faculty members are student friendly. Moreover, the students are more friendly to each other. The labs and classrooms are awesome regarding space and the facilities, they provide.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. They teach you very politely and in a very useful way. You may get industry exposure if you are good in your academics. The teaching quality is better than the other colleges. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. The course curriculum is very useful for studies.

Other: SRM is the university which has many cultural programmes. They identify the unique talents of you, and they provide you all the facilities to shine in your career.

The infrastructure and the placements in SRM are good.

Placements: SRM has a good record of the placements. Unlike the other colleges, they put an effort in bringing jobs to the campus. For the UG courses, the companies come often. But since I am doing my PG over here, I can tell you about the PG placement. In CSE, I got my internship before the first semester with my offer letter and date of joining letter. On an average, each month at least two companies come for UG guys and provide the internships to the PG students. Now don't hope for direct placement if you are a PG student. It is because, the companies cant pay you the same amount as that of UG so that they will absorb you as an intern and after that, they will permanent you. They provide you with the classes to crack the placements. So, if you are in SRM, you don't need to worry about getting the jobs.

Infrastructure: SRM has a great infrastructure. Whether it is sports, entertainments, labs, canteen, everything in SRM is huge and grand. The campus is located out of the city, but you won't feel isolated, as there is a great market inside of it. You can even go to the local markets which have a variety of stores, cafes, and restaurant to have a change of taste.

Faculty: Every faculty member here is highly qualified. The greatest thing about SRM is that if you have a unique idea, they will provide you with a great platform, and even boost you to achieve it. For the research, conferences, and developing prototypes, SRM is no less than the other top reputed universities. Moreover, unlike the others, you will get full support of highly qualified professors and the teachers.

Other: SRM university organises lots of events and functions so that the students don't get bored up. You can participate and enjoy yourselves. The courses are arranged and taught in such a way so that it doesn't mess up your curriculum.

The college has good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: In SRM University, the placements are good and it all depends on the knowledge of students. Placements were good for my senior batch and also for my batch. All the students from my batch got placed including me, except for 5-6 students. I got placed in a company named Symantec.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is like heaven on earth, and all the facilities are good. The library is very good. We can get 4 books issued in a month. The college provides sports facilities. The college provides all the indoor and outdoor games facilities. Classrooms have A/C facilities. The hospital services are free for the students.

Faculty: This university offers almost every course. I'm a bit unhappy about the faculty because the university does not assign the faculty qualified in that particular subject. The faculty members are qualified though. So, I'll not recommend this university.

Other: Overall, this university is good, and the campus has an environment a student wants. Every university has its pros and cons, but it all depends on a student how to take things. During my tenure, it was good, and now, I'm not sure about it. But I'll suggest that this university is not what you are looking for.

SRM even has the features what the brochures won't tell you.

Placements: I have high hopes for my placement seeing that most of our able seniors secured a decent package last year from well-respected companies like Infosys etc. There is also a good placement opportunity for other branches though civil engineering suffered a little. But the packages were less, and the placement was 100%.

Infrastructure: SRM is one of the most renowned University in private sector of India. Hence you should not doubt the quality of infrastructure of the campus. The Wi-Fi enabled campus is clean full of greenery and equipped with benches to sit and water points to drink. The food in the canteen is quite bad and expensive which soaks up on pocket money quickly. Hostels are good and spacious, and there is a problem with mosquitoes. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly, so that's nice and have Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: The faculty here are good but do not expect professors from Harvard or Stanford. Almost all the professors are either PhDs or postgraduates from the renowned colleges of India. I found CSE department satisfyingly good while my friends in mechanical were disappointed, Electrical was good. Well equipped classrooms help a lot. They even helped our internships to move along, so overall I was pretty satisfied with the faculty at SRM.
