VIT Vellore BTech Courses & Fees 2026: Eligibility, Admission 2026 (Open), Rankings, Placements

The official VITEEE 2026 dates will be released soon. The schedule should be checked regularly so that the students can be updated with the important examination and admission events. If any date is changed or postponed, the authorities will announce it online. Therefore, the candidates are advised to remain updated with the VIT 2026 schedule at the official website.

Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ST/applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) from a recognised board to apply for the BTech course. Apart from the qualification, candidates must fulfill the below-mentioned criteria:

• Applicant must be a resident/ non-resident Indian National/ PIO
• Candidates having Mathematics/ Physics/Chemistry in Class 12 only are eligible for all the BTech
• Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology and English for admission to BTech Biotechnology, CSE Bioinformatics and ECE Biomedical Engineering.

Candidates will be able to access their VITEEE result online at vit.ac.in. To download the VITEEE result, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. The authorities will not use any other mode to release the VIT result. Important details such as the scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination will be available behind the admission portal.

The authorities will not release the VITEEE 2025 cutoff online at vit.ac.in. However, if it is released, then the candidates will be able to access it here. VITEEE cutoff 2025 will be prepared to help in the counselling and allotment process. The authorities will consider various factors while preparing the VITEEE cutoff, such as the previous years' cutoff trend, difficulty level of exam, the number of applicants and more. If the candidates meet the cutoff, then they will not guaranteed admissions, however, they will have higher chances of admission. 

For course completion, the candidates have to earn the required credits. The institute has divided the credits among different category of subjects. Yes, the placement cell of VIT Vellore support students in grabbing international internship opportunities. The students becomes eligible for placements and internship programmes in their fifth semester. No, offline payment will not be accepted for VITEEE 2026 application fee. Candidates have to use online method i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment will be accepted by authorities. If the candidates fail to make the payment before the final date, then their application will be rejected and they will not be allowed to participate in the entrance exam.
