The Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) conducted JEE Main 2017 exam On April 2. The exam was held in two slots – from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm for BTech(Paper 1) and from 2 pm to 5 pm from BArch/BPlan(Paper 1). JEE Main results were declared on April 27.

Commenting on the pattern and difficulty level on Paper 2 of JEE Main 2017, Ramesh Batlish, FIITJEE Expert, said, “ There were no errors as such. Pattern was as usual. Total 390 marks. There were 82 questions out of which 50 aptitude, 30 Mathematics and 2 drawing. The two drawing questions were of total 70 marks. Rest all were of +4 and -1 marking. The math section was balanced and of easy to moderate level of questions covering all topics of Class XI and XII CBSE board. Overall the paper was Easy if an aspirant had the right training for this paper”.
