Students having a place with 90+ percentile have higher odds of getting shortlisted for the top B-schools' admission processes. Scoring high percentile does not guarantee admission to the wanted program. Students should experience the choice cycle of the B-school they have been shortlisted for depending on the last legitimacy procedure. Applicants scoring the CAT percentile in this section will have odds of getting shortlisted for the top B-schools like FMS, IITs, IIMs, MDI Gurgaon etc. The sky is the limit from there.
Students scoring in the range between 80 to 90 percentiles will get the opportunities of getting into baby IIMs and other top B-schools like SPJIMR, T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Institute of Management, Nirma University etc. Competitors having a place with general classification probably will not get a call from the different IIMs like Ahmedabad, Kozhikode, Calcutta, Lucknow, Bangalore, Indore and Shillong. Check the rundown of B-schools considering the CAT score between 80-90 percentiles.
An unlikely but a possible situation wherein, if you have scored in the range 60-80 percentile, you have more odds of getting to tier 2 or tier 3 Universities. The confirmation cycle of these schools principally incorporates the GD and PI adjusts. These foundations acknowledge the other placement test scores also. Placement test scores of XAT, CMAT, MAT etc. are considered in these B-Schools. Thus, students can apply through any of the scores they wish to.
On the off chance that you have scored under 60 percentile, overall you will have numerous B-schools, which have no specific cutoff for the CAT scores.
