Is there any negative marking for objective type questions asked in the Bihar Board 12th exams?

No, as per the exam pattern suggested by the board, there is there is no negative marking scheme for objective-type questions asked in the BSEB 12th board exams. Each objective type question is of one mark. For exh correct answer, the students are awarded marks 1 marks. However, for any incorrect answers, no mark is deducted.

BSEB 12th Commerce Exam Pattern 2024: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will soon announce the BSEB 12th Commerce Exam Pattern 2024 along with Science and Arts Exam Pattern. However, the chance of any major change in the last year's exam pattern is very less. However, in case of any change, we will update the same here on this page.

In 2021, the Bihar Board had introduced some changes in the examination pattern for Class 12. According to the BSEB 12th Exam Pattern, the Class 12 exams will have 50% multiple-choice questions, carrying 1 mark each. Subjects having both theory and practicals will only have 35 MCQs in the theory paper. The BSEB marking scheme for Class 12 was been revised. According to the revised marking scheme released, in case a candidate fails in a compulsory subject BSEB Class 12 board exams 2024, the marks obtained in the additional subject will be considered instead. The newly introduced change will enable students to appear for the exams to obtain an aggregate pass mark.

The total exam duration is 3 hours and 15 minutes.
