BSEB 12th Commerce Preparation 2026: Tips, Strategy & Guide

To know the right approach in tackling the BSEB examinations 2021, students must go through the preparation tips and tricks mentioned below:

1. Solve Previous Years’ Question Paper: Solving previous 5-10 question papers gives an idea about the exam pattern & frequently asked questions. The BSEB 12th Commerce Model Question Papers test your knowledge and understanding of concepts. It builds question-solving skills and confidence among students. 
2. Revision: Revision is the final touch. Don’t wait till the last moment to revise. Instead, choose a day from the week and revise whatever you have completed till then. Try completing the syllabus two months before your board exams. It gives you ample time to revise.

3. Select a Proper Time to Start Preparing for the Board Exams: Every student has their own pace with which they can learn and understand things. Students must start with the preparations well in time.

4. Study Method: Every person has their own pattern of studying. It’s good to set your own study hours. Assign more time to the subjects that are tougher. This makes tough subjects easier to study. Take a rest before studying. For example, if you study at night then take proper rest in the evening. Alternatively, if you study early in the morning, then have a sound sleep at night. It helps in studying with a fresh mind.
5. No New Topics Before the Exam: Don’t start a new topic before the exam. This shakes your confidence and makes you feel that you have not studied efficiently. If you have skipped something during your preparation, leave it.  Revise the essential topics you have prepared and relax before the exam. Stay stress-free and confident about your exam preparation. 
6. Work on Your Weak Points: Know what your weak points are and work hard to improve them. Learn from your mistakes. Look at your pre-board answer sheets and work on improving your mistakes. It helps to make notes of your weak points. Try and make notes of whatever you feel is very important and revise them on a daily basis. 
7. Rest and Diet: Take sufficient rest in between your study schedule. Allocate about 6-7 hours for comfortable sleep. Indulge in yoga or exercise. These things help you feel refreshed. Eat a healthy diet. Make sure your food is rich in nutrients and low on sugar. Eating green vegetables, nuts and protein-rich items makes you feel energetic. 
8. Make Notes: Writing notes is a good habit to help you learn effectively. For every subject, make notes of the essential things to remember. For numerical based subjects like Maths and Physics, make notes of the formulas. This will help you with the last-minute revision. Keep a diary of solved numericals for your reference. It assists with last-minute exam preparation.
9. Formulae and theorems: Write down every formula, theorem and practice them regularly. The more you practice the easier it is to remember them. Understand the basics instead of mugging them up. Make a clean formula register for your revision and refer it for your daily practice.
10. Group study: These sessions help in resolving doubts and answering each other’s queries. Students can share their style of study and give tips to each other that are really helpful.
