Students must go through the NIOS Class 12 Exam Pattern 2026 to have an insight into the type of questions and the marking scheme. Most subjects in the NIOS Class 12th exams have a total of 100 marks. Out of this, 70 to 80 marks are for the theory exam, and 20 to 30 marks are for practical or internal assessment. NIOS Class 12 public examinations are conducted twice in a year. The first exam is held in March/April and 2nd exam in Oct/Nov.
