NIOS 12th Hall Ticket 2026 (Practical Out): Download NIOS Class 12th Theory Exam Admit Card

Students appearing for the NIOS 12th Oct/Nov public exams can download their NIOS 12th hall ticket 2026 through sdmis.nios.ac.in using their 12-digit roll number. The NIOS admit card for class 12th mentions the following details- student’s details, exam schedule, etc. Note that hall ticket can be downloaded only if students have paid exam fee for public examination and if their photograph is available with NIOS. In case the hall ticket is not generated due to missing photo, they should contact their Regional Centre immediately.

Students appearing for the NIOS 12th examinations must follow the steps mentioned below to download the NIOS 12th admit card:

1. Visit the official website of NIOS at sdmis.nios.ac.in/search/hall-ticket
2. Enter  the enrolment number
3. Select Hall ticket for Theory examination
4. Click on ‘Submit’
5. Download the NIOS admit card 2026 for Class 12 and take its print out for future references

• Students should enter the examination hall before the exam starts.
• They must carry their NIOS 12th admit card 2026.
• They should carry the required stationery items and water bottle if needed.
• They must leave for the examination centre keeping in mind the weather, traffic conditions etc.
• They should not carry mobile phones or any other barred electronic items to the examination centre.
• All students must read and adhere to the important instructions mentioned in the NIOS 12th hall ticket 2026.
• Students must not do any unfair practices.

• Usually, admission for a certain course is available and confirmed by the NIOS soon after they issue the ID card. It basically includes the learner’s admission details that were available in the NIOS’ record
• If there is any kind of discrepancy with regards to name, date of birth or address and photo then the same needs to be sent to the correction department at the candidate's study care or the regional centre with the proof of document
• Candidates need to note that the document revision process will be initiated by the department only after submitting the migration certificate, mark sheet or final certificate with the details that were incorrect and the issue for the same has been raised by them with the application
• It is important that applications should be submitted within three years from the registration date in NIOS before they appear for the exam

• The learner must wear face mask and/or hand gloves and may carry a small transparent hand sanitiser bottle
• At the time of entry into the examination centre, a separate queue shall be formed for boys and girls and social distancing of 2 meters shall be maintained.
• At the entry gate of the examination centre, the temperature of each learner shall be checked by thermal screening and in case a learner fails to meet the criteria of temperature, he/she shall not be permitted to take the examination on that day.
• Learner having symptoms of fever, cough and cold shall be either seated in a separate room or shall not be allowed to appear in the exam on that day.
• For entering the examination centre, the candidate must bring the original Identity Card issued by NIOS along with Public Examination hall ticket and another valid photo identity proof like Aadhar Card, Passport or PAN card etc.
• Carrying Mobile Phones, Cameras, bags, calculators and any other electronic gadgets etc. to the NIOS Examination Centre is prohibited. The learner may carry a personal transparent water bottle.
• The learner is advised to reach the examination centre sufficiently in advance.
• On completion of the exam, the learner should move out in an orderly manner – One candidate at a time
