IIT Kharagpur MSc Eligibility & Highlights 2026
IIT Kharagpur also offers a Joint MSc-PhD course in eight specialisations. The course lasts for five-years, and admission to the same is based on IIT-JAM score, then an interview. IIT Kharagpur students of MSc-PhD Joint programme are offered a few scholarships. The details for all these scholarships are as follows:
- Merit-cum-Means Scholarship of INR 1,000 per month is offered up to 25% of the students (for the first two years of MSc programme)
- Students not covered under the above point are paid a scholarship of INR 1000 per month for the first four semesters provided they give an undertaking to continue with the PhD programme

The phase 1 of IIT Delhi placement drive 2026 is completed. As per reports, more than 1500 offers were made. In addition, 15 international offers were received during IIT KGP placements 2026. The highest package stood at INR 244 LPA.
